To answer Papa Tragos' question about how you become a lead prosecutor and show the level of incompetence that Ms. Love is exhibiting I would say three words: Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (or four words if you include "and"). That's why DEI is so destructive. Maybe Ms. Love wasn't a DEI hire but if she wasn't then what the hell is going on? There are obviously many amazing Black prosecutors and Defense attorneys but Ms. Love, D.A. Fani Willis, Alvin Bragg in NYC, and Leticia James also in NYC are not among them. They're doing a tremendous disservice to the the Judicial process and to qualified Black attorneys all over the country. And I think they're all Soros backed. The fact that George Soros hasn't spent a single day in prison and he's going to be dead soon because he's like 100 years old is travesty of justice. Hopefully his son(s) won't have the same luck he did.

Phil Holloway (GA attorney, channel is Inside the Law) speculated that perhaps the Judge sees that the defense is winning, so wants to see the trial through to a NG verdict and no retrial.
I'd like to be optimistic and agree with that premise, but the way this trial is dragging on, draining the defendants of funds as they sit in that nasty jail, draining the jurors & wasting their time, harming witnesses, etc, makes it kinda hard to believe that the Judge is keeping this trial going for their benefit.
The way Fulton Co has been so corrupt, I wouldn't doubt if this case is continuing simply because the DA office is receiving tons of federal funds to try this RICO case (which is true, Fani is getting grant after grant for this - and misappropriating it)

Sledge was the driver. It was over a girl and not for YSL. He was told he could explain when he said he wanted some things changed but they wouldn’t change them. Number 8 wasn’t in the deal originally and was a hard no and in court Ms Love had them sign a new version that included number 8 that wasn’t supposed to be here. His lawyer said the same thing and that he wanted to go take care of his sick mom. He couldn’t afford to go to trial and other defendants still in jail with no public defender yet.

So very easy to take a document that's been signed by both parties and insert an extra line right before the signatures. If there's enough room it's so easy to insert a number eight with a laser printer it just has to be aligned correctly. I'm getting the impression that he's saying that that number 8 was never there when he signed it. If he was surprised it's in there maybe it wasn't in there when he signed it maybe they inserted it later

I can't thank you enough for having your dad giving us a synopsis of this trial. I have been following this this almost daily since Glanville left and this trial has been going SO SLOW I "can't keep up" or rather I should say-stay awake long enough to make this trial even meaningful. I can only imagine how much the jurors hate all this. The prosecution should have learned something from the OJ trial. Don't drag out a case, it backfires when the jurors think your only purpose is self-serving yourselves (the prosecutors). I know if I was on the jury, I'd acquit, 50% of the reason being because this prosecution should never had brought this case to trial. A trial that is completely out of their scope of presenting this case in an intelligent fashion.
THANKS DAD for the Cliff Notes version!

Don’t wanna pick on Papa George, but he has a few facts wrong. IT’s understandable cuz if you’re not watching every hour of everyday, u will def miss a lot of context. Mounk Tounk (Sledge) didn’t commit a drive by in furtherance of YSL, it was revenge for the shooting of his girlfriend’s house. He admitted to & explained all his crimes (drugs, shootings, etc) but also said it was nvr for YSL. Max Shardt’s cross was A1!! Completely dismantled the state’s whole case. Just like he did with Woody. So 2 of the most egregious acts (murder & drive by) were proven by the defense to not be overt acts.

The Prosecution witnesses appear to be truly stressed by Love, lost in the maze of her own confusing, relentless wordiness. Jurors are even less informed than these defendants, and may easily identify with their exasperation. She needs the witnesses to convict themselves, since so far, she presents no hard proof of who actually did what.

What is really annoying about this trial is that some of the defendants ARE gangsters and they will not face punishment because of the unprofessional and sometimes unethical practices of the DA office. The whole DA staff need a reboot and up-skilling of their procedural policies and methods. And a good dose of ethics 101

this hole case is a political move from the DA in my opinion - utilising the court for politicial ambitions to gain favor with the citizens should be outlawed
I will never undrstand why judges and DA can be voted for - apointing judges and prosecuters is in my opinion the better way cause DA and partly judges use this to get elected again or further other politcal ambitions. And i know apointing DA and judges isnt perfect but the pro outweigh the cons in my opinion.

This really speaks volumes about this case. Every lawyer channel and ppl involved in the judicial system on social media is saying that this trial is a mess. Even current and former prosecutors are saying that Fulton county is prosecution team is using un fair and unethical tactics against the defendents and their clients. What a mess. Smh. This trial must be stopped and the defendents immediately release. It's crazy. Nothing has been proven but ppl throughout the city were wildin out.

DA Love's ability to practice law should be revoked after all of her apparent willfulness to constantly engage in prosecutorial misconduct. I have counted 47 instances of the defense calling for a mistrial. This is abhorrent and the fact that it is televised you would think all in the court would put on their best performance. It's very hard to believe anyone who has been previously prosecuted by this DA has had a fair trial

  • @AliciaL98

DA Love needs to step aside; I can never understand where she's going with her questioning. She seems more interested in hearing herself talk and showing how smart she is.
How much is the jury going to remember? This is WAY too long and pointless. IMO, it's a vanity project to launch political careers more than getting justice.

Great job on the update today. I’ve watched a lot of the day to day and it’s crazy the bad behavior of the prosecutors. They look at best incompetent and at worst railroading the case to fit their narrative. Papa T did great as always. He had a slower pace which probably drives Peter nuts but I like it!! As far as the attorney being cleared to be in court and try cases, I thought it had to do with his medical leave from his heart attack and he was trying to recall if her questioned event happened before or after he’d been cleared to return to work. He mentioned he’d been away from his practice for about 9 months because of his health.

For gods sake, if there was EVER a case that Netflix needs to produce a series about, this is a textbook example of a raging dumpster fire of a case. My god, how far down a rabbit hole can we go? How can any jury think this is anything but a Barnum and Bailey circus?
