Yea people got this idea that he's easy to use. At a baseline level, yea for sure, but the skill ceiling for him can be pretty high. Execution, hitconfirms/reactions, just in general need good fundamentals.
Should've added this into the video, too late. Alternative inputs - 1: hold 6, 36 ~HP. you're holding forward, slide controller/stick into downforward then back to forward and tap HP. 2. tap/hold 6, 236 ~ HP. forward, then just do QCF motion and do a minor delay HP. 3.hold 4, 236 ~ HP. Hold downforward, then do a super late QCF delay HP. All four inputs work, it's all about timing.
@@Sigmamamba311 I just mean grapplers in general in SF6 have slow drive rushes and very weak defensive options. Lili, gief, Manon, Marisa sort of but she's not really a grappler.
@@saado99 think about it like this you still can use Drive rush to bait shit 😏 you can use Perry bait 2 you use Drive Rush have a run mechanic that's just how I use.
Alex = 90s New Generation face, Luke=Modern New generation face and both are great for their roles. Even if alex forefronted in a later season for this game, he would not be the "poster boy" for THIS game and that's fine.
I'm still in the process of practicing it, it is very difficult for sure. Check my pinned comment about other input methods to do it, there might be another shortcut I haven't looked at. So far I noticed the key to doing this is to basically buffer the input literally at the tail end of the OD Knuckle, such that when it has finished recovering, Luke needs to be walking forward already.
from some tinkering in training mode, there's actually another input I've found for it, basically hold down forward the whole time then do a super late QCF HP. It's still not easy but at least with easier inputs it becomes manageable. I may do another video just to highlight the other input methods so people don't get confused.
@@baadshahmiya the microwalk is sort of built into the input. You need to let the HP out a bit late and walk a little bit during the input before letting it out.
I really agree with Luke being difficult to master. His 5MP target combo hit confirm and this combo are really not easy to do but important imo

I keep getting super or I’m doing it too late
I would adjust the motion you're doing it with. I've been having more success doing forward, then qcf or downforward, qcf.
I like Luke but it's not fair what about Alex 😢
You want Alex in SF6? he'll come but be ready for a bad drive rush and no defensive options 😕
@@saado99 I was talking about has the poster child for Street Fighter and what do you mean by defensive options curious to know🤔

After stand lk xx ex knuckle, the microwalk H DP feels extremely hard to do, any tips?

@baadshahmiya it is a microwalk they're just making this more complicated than it is
