      On a far away punish counter DI hit in the corner you can also dash up suppressor into light perfect knuckle into any normal perfect knuckle routes including air knuckle routes.

    Bro I LOVE this move! I try to use it whenever I can. Thanks for this guide!

      Yep, excellent move, really separates Luke from Ken/Ryu a lot, I really like it because you can't just throw it out like DJs sway it has situational uses that can be risky but yield huge reward.

    bro u are a luke tech god. hey btw do you know how i can consistenly do instant DR? i always get dash half the time even tho the input history looks fine ➡ , ➡ + MKMP. for some reason tho, it becomes more consistent when i do it but hold down the parry, but still not consistent enough. is there a trick to make it easier or something?

    • @saado99
      @saado99  9 месяцев назад +1

      I think that's correct. Yea you need to hold down parry when you do it. I don't remember how I do it but I think I do it forward+MP+MK, forward and just do it fast, you can try it that way and just make sure you're holding parry the whole time.

    Thanks bro for the vid
    Finally we can use suppressor without chossing the vskill like sf5 haha .. wish if they kept the anti throw animation.. btw i got question for you bro .. how you deal with down mid kick dr cancel pressure!! Dose drive reversal beat it if you do it early !!

    • @saado99

      Just block it, don't even bother drive reversaling it. I gave up on drive reversalling drive rush cancel after losing to Idom in a very close set at a tournament.
      After you block it, depends on the situation... a lot of times its okay to just get thrown if its midscreen. If they're cornered, slightly different because now the throw is more scary since they can backthrow.
      The mixup is a bit wierd, but your main options to get out of that are to backjump/backdash, walkback/just get thrown. DPing only works good at a high level here because they're mind games are on a different scope. It also kind of depends on the normal they came in with, for example if they did crouch MK DR crouch.LP, that is usually +2 and you can actually go for immediate throw, that will throw them and also throw them if they walk back, the only way for them to beat that is to backdash or frametrap with something. So even though people say it's throw/strike/shimmy, in reality it isn't that simple, there's a lot of mini options in there. That's why I said I don't reccomend DPing unless you know who you're fighting, too risky/costly all to avoid taking 1200 damage.
      But yea, it mostly depends on the reads, the positioning (midscreen vs.back to the corner), usually getting thrown at the cost of them losing 3 drive isn't so bad. Especially if you pick luke, cause 1200 damage is nothing, you'll hit them back with 2-3X more damage when you get the hit to make up for it. Hopefully at helps.

      @saado99 thank you that's helped alot
      I'm taking alot of the throws to avoid getting shimmy but it's tire some
      Wish if they make the drive rush cancel minus on block
      And make the throw loop at the corner like Chunli when you have to micro walk to throw

    this is some good tech. do you have any tech on cammy? she has a move like this with 6 HK thats totally unexplored for the most part. i saw angrybird mention that 6 HK was part of one optimal combo for her.

    • @saado99
      @saado99  9 месяцев назад +1

      With Cammy or anti-cammy? Pretty much nothing that most Cammy players don't already know. And yes, that move can be used similarly to suppressor, the difference is that one is super unsafe so you pretty much have to always cancel it to drive rush. I guess maybe spin knuckle as well.
      Jamie also has back HP, which is similar to suppressor but definitely not as good based on my experience with Jamie. Only goes into the target combo, super cancelable on the first hit. I'm not too familiar with it (Jamie is the worst character IMHO) but I believe it's also slower than suppressor, not sure about the evasion frames but Luke's suppressor I believe the peak of it's evasion is 6 or 7f I would need to check my notes, but Jamie's feels way later. Overall, yea, Luke's suppressor is definitely the best of the 3, DJs sway is on another level.
