Perfect parry’s on point from him throughout the whole set too
Yeah that shimmy was cold
This made me a proud South African gamer.. We always play on high ping and lagg is a daily experience.. But to see someone on a stage like this.. I'm inspired❤️💯💪🏽
Definitely didn't look like the usual Tokido performance here, but in the end, it doesn't matter. Everyone knows we won't see true Tokido until Akuma is here.
Spring 2024, we can wait.
@@KemetShamar We'll see in the spring. End of story ;)
@@KemetShamarThey don't realise that it comes across that Tokido is carried by Akuma, too.
It’s crazy how core fundamentals of thus game can be used to change the outcomes of fights even against pro players. The devs really did something very smart with thus game’s mechanics.
2:53 not only he dropped the combo, but also decided to wake up with a special.
That's platinum lvl gameplay. 😂😂
I still love Tokido
And what about all the DI he got hit with? Must be the nerve, on his online match he usually counter DI with another DI.
It genuinely seems suspicious to me that he's playing so badly.
@@EleventhFloorBelfry maybe also because he's clearly playing an away match :)
You guys have never been in a high stakes offline tournament have you?
Really cringe reading this shit
15:57 my favorite part of the match is the announcer reacting to jabhim's perfect parry but drops it lol
Way to Go Jab. Humility is his strongest vertue. Beautiful matches from both
This is what gaming is all about! DOPE sets from both players!
Best match of the night so far
Nope angry bird vs big bird was better
@@nigelstanford4you’re definitely right. That Angry bird vs Big Bird match was worthy of a final. It came down to the wire
@@infintelyevolving4937 Missed out on that one I'll have to check it out
Some great walk unders by Jabhim. That's how you play an aggressive Ken.
Street Fighter South Africa arc begins
I got zoomed here from checking out Tekken 8 vids and this was the most hype fucken shit I've seen in years
Ambos jugaron a un gran nivel, pero la presión del público tuvo un gran peso para el japonés.
I swear this is my favorite tournament video. The energy is ridiculous, I get hyped just watching it. If this video doesn’t make you wanna play Street Fighter 6, then you cray cray
Jabhim is the type of guy that look at tier lists and turn them upside down.
Chun is easily high tier lol
@Fozes no one ranked her S and even then she was never considered a high A tier. Ken is supposedly S but it didnt stop him
@@GamingCentralTV1 Chun is difficult to use optimally, but her ceiling is really high. In the right hands she's easily a solid A tier at least.
I Simply love these fighting tournaments!!
💪🏾😎💯🔥🔥🔥🔥
Not gonna lie bro, the crowed looks like paid actors lmao.
Congrats Jabhim!
Respect from Japan🇯🇵
Hat's off to Jabhim played this set extremely well. Like what the heck happened to Tokido during this set? He was legit doing some strange stuff lol
There's going to be about a year of people doing weird stuff since it's a new game with a ton of things to consider
he just switched to ken 1 week ago (his luke is 10x better) it is what it is
Don't you see how laggy it is. Tokido couldn't do his usual stuff so he needed to improvise, while Jabhim is used to play like this: it's actually his soil
Laggy? Do you think they were playing online?
Hes saving his Luke tech for the $1 million
Jahbim refuses to use his block button is one of lifes greatest mysteries
I saw the title and thought Tokido actually won 😂😂
Tokido winning wouldn't really by an upset.
@5:53 WOOOOOOW!!! that win was amazing!!!! It's as if he KNEW Tokido would do a Shoryuken (Dragon Punch)
because of the$1 million prize you are going to see more new faces
Prize for what though???
@@nigelstanford4 EVO
No its because SF6 has training wheels and holds scrubs hands is why u see new faces
Anyone that picks Chun Li for a tournament has to be GOATED with her fighting style!
Why was tokido playing like a silver rank for this entire set?
I know nothing about these tournaments but wow the crowd was so hyped
Wow he is insanely good love the new faces of sf6
Holy moley...amazing comeback from Tokido. About two slivers of life left, and he turns it around. Brilliant. Equally brilliant play from Jahbim as well...jeez. Amazing play by Jahbim as well pullang that perfect on Tokido. 😮
Grrrrrreattt for jabhim! Excellent plays
This was🔥🔥🔥🔥. Love to see when a country’s community gets behind the players and it culminates in an epic win
All I heard was "another perfect parry!" The crowd support was EPIC..With a level 3 finish!! Sh^t was CRAZY! SALUTE
I’ve never been the one to watch other people play games but this had my heart racing! I wanted to learn how to play better and I’m blown away by the levels you put can achieve and get to! Well done to both guys and using Chun-Li so skillfully is just 🎯🎯🎯
This was amazing to watch 💪🏿🌎🇹🇹🎬🎯
What A comeback by Chun Li main 😳😱😱
