My god.... that black with red interior is very classy! Lexus needs to offer custom painted brake calipers in this price-point. Red calipers would make this car sizzle!
The color combination for this car look so classy! I've seen it in royal blue with white interior and it was also a work of art! Usually, I cant stand car salesmen, but I highly enjoy your reviews. They are always detailed, educational, and smooth. Appreciate you sharing your knowledge with us. Keep the quality reviews coming.
YES! However it would be a hard top coupe and not the convertible! I wish we had a hard top convertible, however both of these are still great! Thanks for watching
I kind of prefer the clean integration of the previous versions infotainment in the dash. It just looked like it belonged. But this car is still stunning.
Trust me it's an upgrade.. A little less elegant but multiple people commented to me about my infotainment not being touch screen. They'd always go to change the station or turn on heated seats then they were shocked when they found out it wasn't a touch screen.
Also, the new infotainment is actually REALLY good.. I would've preferred old setup if it was just a regular old touch screen, but this one is outstanding.
@@Gamesso1slOo0l for the lexus infotainment it is really hard especially while driving. you constantly have to keep looking at the screen while moving the touchpad as it was very sensitive and everything was hidden under several separate menus. I don't prefer touchscreens due to fingerprints, scratches, smudges, etc, but the lexus os was very unintuitive, almost unsafe to use compared to something like idrive or even incontrol touch which is kind of notorious for being really bad
I mean damn that interior is amazing! What a color combo, and the right colors in the right places...not too much of one over the other, nicely balanced!
I own a 2018 LC. Not a big fan of the TOUCH SCREEN for 2024. Taking your eyes off the road while traveling at 130 feet per second is dangerous. You can get dead quickly. Not sure why LC owners were too lazy to learn VOICE COMMAND. In the five years of ownership, the trackpad in my car is almost never used. Once the MENU/SETUP was completed by me, there has seldom been a situation to use the trackpad. Using the very dangerous TOUCH SCREEN is no different than TEXTING on your smart phone while driving which is against the law in many, if not all states. It's hard to figure out why people smart enough to buy the finest car in production today aren't smart enough to learn about 20 VOICE COMMANDS. This black convertible is beautiful nevertheless in spite of the "stuck on" screen. I hope whoever buys this car takes the time to learn VOICE COMMAND and doesn't use the TOUCH SCREEN.
I m torn on the screen. I know it’s more convenient and easier to use but it’s just like every other “iPad” like screen that just sticks out. The previous setup looked better and flowed better In a year or 2 I will own one of these. I ll decide on which screen I want later but I will likely opt for a low mileage used one from probably 2019-2022 if the new one doesn’t move me
I'm totally with you on the screen. I have a 2020 model and I wouldn't trade it for a new one. I use the concierge and it's easy to adjust things if needed, or maybe I'm used to it.... Either way, I prefer the look of the older model. Recessed, flowy, integrated....just beautiful.
I live out in the country and I love that deer catcher grill. Here we have deer stricks almost daily and with that hugh plastic grill we could just scoop'em up and go!
Great presentation. Very natural. Should have been prepared with examples of the new colors. Lexus would be glad to supply.l I’m sure. What’s luggage space vs the coupe?
Honestly, i liked old interior better, i need a car that has a lot of buttons as they are part of the design. A lot of cars just put a giant TV in the car and brand it as "innovative", but in reality it's just the most cheapest option for car to build. KEEP THE BUTTONS LEXUS.
Love everything except the front end I can’t warm up to but still enjoy the chrome accents and trim pieces. The advantage to old school gauges are daytime visibility and clarity at a glance, can’t imagine being blinded by the newest dashboard displays during night driving. Mechanically it’s a masterpiece of performance and reliability in a luxury package.
So that's actually the new standard wheel for the LC convertible and the Performance Package hard top as well! As for the interior this one is the Rioja Red!
Thank you very much for your excellent presentation. I wonder though, what you can say about this Lexus' sound system, which will always be an integral aspect of the driving / riding experience in such a magnificent car.
Thanks for watching! That's a good point that I should touch on the soundsystem more! I find the Mark Levinson to be a fairly "Full Sound" although the bass isn't as loud as I'd like lol!
Dustin, do you have any recent views on the LS500? I’d love to see your take! I’m subscribed and always looking forward to your reviews! Keep rocking the fitted suits too!
Thank you so much for the continued support!!! I do plan on doing a review on the LS! We recently got one in on trade I'm just waiting for it to get a small repair and I will do a video! I own a 2014 LS 460 so I might even do a comparison of the two!
I have an Atomic Silver, 2018. At the time I purchased mine there was this interior and an almost replica car with the toasted caramel interior. I like the toasted but I'm SOOOO glad I picked this Rioja Red/Black instead. 😍
That is a gorgeous car, and I'm hoping to get one soon! You'll think me crazy for asking, but does it come with a CD player? I've seen some dealerships claiming that it does, but I haven't seen one in the dozens of videos and pictures that I've seen. Thanks!
Yes it does, right below the climate controls. At 7:58 when he opens the forward cup holder you can see the word Mark Levinson...that's the single disc CD player. Made me actually purchase a CD which I haven't done in 20 years, lol. "The Miseducation Of Lauryn Hill," and it sounds amazing, in car!
LOVE LOVE LOVE THIS LEXUS, I WILL GET ONE ( ALL THINGS BEING EQUAL ) JAH'S WILLING, THIS EAR FOR THIS SUMMER 2024!-GREAT VIDEO REVIEW- thank you Performance Lexus-well done
Best interior of a car I've ever owned...and I've had some incredible cars in my 58 years! There's a slight hesitation, every time I have to get out of it...
I know what you mean! The older system with the Lexus Remote touchpad meant the screen was nicely tucked away. However I love the new functionality for sure!
Lexus has to build more cars Like this
That's right. For the 45 people that will buy them.
@Mr21scott that can afford them u mean

One of the best cars on the planet

Sir, you did an amazing job presenting the car to us. Honestly, very natural, fun and smoothing. BR from Austria
This is a real beauty and a piece of art; and very difficult not to like, and the desire to own one comes immediately, no matter what your age is
