just a heads up one more fix would be if you broke any latching piece of the top shell or face of the controller it doesnt let the circular dpad press a certain side cause of the shell///it obstructs the circular dpad motion but evrything works fine just replace the shell if nothing in the video worked thts how i got mine to work properly
I know this is an older video hopefully someone can help though, my contact points under the dpad (up and right) are permanently caved in. So always activated, is their any way to fix that?
My controller is having a problem where the right d pad is pressed and the left one doesn't work when I press it but yeah the right d pas is just pressed and doesn't let me do nothing
Ik it's been a few months but if your still having that issue after taking rallasm's suggestion and it's a software issue try going into controller setting and if it says Lb then change it back but if it says the normal up on the d-pad try to change it to something random save it, restart your Xbox, change back to up on the d-pad save it and restart your Xbox again. peace -Cryptex
Well I’m fucked. I made it all the way to the last step and sure enough it’s the sticker. I’m definitely not confident enough to fix that though Edit: I fixed it without having to take the second layer off thank God. All I had to do was lift up on the sticker a little bit and the contact points started working again. Hopefully it lasts
