Wow. That was so satisfying to watch. You look very relaxed and like you’ve been doing this for a while. Great job! Very RL ALLAN style. Thanks for your time! And God Bless! 👍
Good third video. I see what you did with that half inch flap when you removed the block. You just glued it down. Got it now. You covered a mistake I made on my second rebind....I didn't ensure i had the block centered on the cover before I glued it in. I like the idea of letting cover hang off the surface you're going to secure. Good idea. Thanks for the videos.
Hey. Where do you get your end paper from? I am really struggling to find some. Plus I don’t know the weight I need. Tried 65lb cardstock but still seemed too thick
When looking for Goatskin, Lambskin or Leather of any sort, How do we find something as thin, with the right properties for a good bible rebinding? Is there a way to call out the proper thickness and flexibility?
leathers can be found at Siegel Leather Supplies either on Amazon / Ebay/ Hobby Lobby / Tandys Leather. if you'd like to learn more about Bible Rebinding, Id encourage you to join our Patreon! Patreon.com/KeepPreaching
Hey man I really enjoy your videos and you're work is amazing, but I am trying to learn this for my personal scriptures and ur part 2 is locked for payment? Im actually goin thru a difficult time financially and cannot pay for the content. Is there any way I can see the video somehow? Im learning from you man...
I have a 1947 KJV by Spencer Press. It’s my mom’s and needs rebinding. This led me to your channel 😂 I’m a seasoned leather worker who now needs to burn through your vids. Are there rebinding channels you can recommend or books? Stay bold and be blessed!
Hello! If you are already familiar with leathers and working with them, rebinding will still take time to learn, but you are ahead of most who start out! I don't know of any other videos on How to Rebind a bible. But there is a book by Coloca, on how to rebind a bible, not familiar how in-depth he goes. Good Luck!
Awesome video. No-nonsense. You don’t waste 48 minutes talking in circles. Well done , my friend.

How can I become a channel member? I’m trying to see part 2
I live in Alabama, how would I be able to choose materials to rebind my Bible?
Do you use an Oxford Hollow in the spine?
Not always!
So great! Art gilding: Have you ever tried this on an older Bible? Thinking about doing it on my 1978 NIV. Thoughts or advice?
Hello! With worn edges, we avoid adding color to them, because it will turn out a mess. Better to leave as is or have regilded by a professional.
Where’s the best place to purchase tools, materials, etc.

Do they have a site to buy bibles with no cover?
What's the Cost?
When you do have to completely reinforce a spine say on an older bible. What do you use to remove the old glue?
This is completely reinforced :)
My apologies, I misread your question. I just peel off the old glue, or scrape it.

What kind of press are you using to hold the Bible in place? Did you make it or is that something that can be purchased?
I made the book press with some long bolts and 1/2 plywood 😎👍
Hello sir, what ribbons do you use and where can you purchase them? Thank you.
Amazon Double face satin :) or Berisfords if you want premium stuff.
Part 1 and part 3 but no part 2?
Putting the liner on the leather is the part I came here to learn
Im not a professional video uploader, but I do have all 3 parts here.
