If you cut the cover off by scoring or cutting inside along the hinges, you have an intact cover to measure from

Then you can use that cover for something else, like a junk journal.

Hi, the black paper is leather. I used pigskin leather from jackets as it was easily available. The white paper is 67 lb card stock from Staples. It's labeled Cover stock Ledger Size.

How thick is the card stock paper are you using to make measurements? Is it just normal card stock?

Hi, I have used regular paper but in the video I am using Cover stock or heavier weight paper. It is easier to work with.
