Man I got to say I have always enjoyed the craftsmanship of Bibles I recently got saved but I always had a couple Bibles growing up but I thought about rebounding one myself and I got to say that’s a simple but genius idea on how to get leather….from couches or goodwill !!! Haha good stuff my man really God bless bud take care !
Hi, I have used acrylic paint thinned with water and applied using a Purdy brush. I have also used inks and a sponge. The acrylic paint makes the pages stick. I saw a video where someone puts talcum powder first on the pages but I have not tried this yet.

Is the leather from the goodwill jacket genuine leather? Or is it full grain or top grain?
The leather is genuine. I'm not always sure what type of leather it is.
what do you use for the ink on the edges of the pages?
