      Can you tell the owner that reliability and price is more important for his dream to survive or come proper fruition. We have enough small car manufacturers making their car and not selling due to price and reliability then to tank in a few years.

      @@DrewLSsix there are half a dozen that I can think of between 3.8-6.3 liters and all but one have less cylinders. Sure there are a ton of four cylinder hybrids under 2 liters but they still have much more displacement per cylinder. I’d say 2.0 is a small hybrid but especially when you consider it’s a ten cylinder then it’s very low displacement Indeed.

      it is more important it is 2litres !!! thats why !! it is not the "V10" 2litre 4 cylinders is more or less the same like 2litre 10 cylinders, except double fun and 4 times the price 🤣

    Someone start a fundraiser purely for Mr Bishop. He clearly puts all his heart into his work and would mean a lot to him to be able to show the world what he's got in his back pockets. I want to see more of Connaught. I want to see that this man is capable to achieve with todays technology and that idea for a car.

      Right? I've owned a Mk2 GLI with a 2.8 VR6 swap. The sound that thing made was biblical. This seams like a VRF(ormula) engine plan that just never panned out so they built a road car around it instead. Whatever the reason, my interest is peaked. I just want one of the engines, really.

    I am having a hard time wrapping my head around the fact that investors and other engineers looked clear away from this car/company/tech. The prius was already out so it was proven concept. This car is freakin sweet.

    I think the car community should get together and help make this car a reality. We're millions. Imagine if we all just gave 5$ to support the research and development of a lightweight manual v10 car that could be sold to the masses.

    This v10 sounded like a 50's/60's F1 car. That raw idle sounds a lot like the BRM v16: also small displacement, lots of pistons

    Beautiful. Imagine the sound of a V10 and the economy of a hybrid. Considering this tech was made in 2004, that car is beyond cutting edge. Hybrids didn’t become a big deal until 2010-ish, and hybrid sports cars still don’t really exist, even though Mazda has called it’s shots, the Miata is going hybrid later.
    Truly ahead of it’s time, I love it.

    As much as I like this whole idea, the owner didn't really explain anything that we wanted to know, he said v10 because you need alot cylinders, and narrow angle because it works. I wish he gave a more technical explanation of benefits such confogurations has. Best of luck

      Hes not banning petrol cars outright you can still drive them but after 2031 manufactures wont be allowed to make or sell new petrol cars so if you have one built befour then you can still drive it

      Naturally aspirated engines and an electric hybrid drivetrains make sense. Lamborghinis next roadcar will most likely be a V12 hybrid.

      i actually made a successful 1.8L V8 economy car in beamNG/automation, basically a micro/squat version of a dodge challenger modernized with no prior knowledge this car existed! not exactly the same but i see my car and my way of design in this so much!
