To keep from locking the keys in the house you can use the key that you need to unlock the door and use that to lock the door. That's what I do to keep from locking myself out of the house and that way you don't need to hide a key or do anything else to get back n after the doors are locked.

I don't think it's a great idea to invest in private hospital if you are not related to medical field or not having a child who could be part and connected to it, it's a quiet risky that it could possibly be corrupted or sabotage or hit by natural disaster or accidental fire, but if you are really into medical field and could possessed the enough equipments and requirements for it, then it's really nice making money there especially if you are highly reputation doctor.
Very interesting Scott and Cecile, in particular your comments regarding personal investments in the local hospital. We will explore this idea at the Hospital in our town, North Cebu on our return 2025. Sounds like a good idea. About the proliferation of toy guns in the markets there, i first noticed this in 1999, when we visited Cebu on vacation. Compared to my country New Zealand, i found this strange to be encouraging kids to play with guns, whereas in NZ this is not encouraged. Occasionally, i found myself to be the target when small boys would point their plastic toy guns at me pretending to shoot me. I'm a Veteran Infantry soldier Scott so i've had a bit to do with weapons that kill, what about yourself, are you a Veteran? I have several US Vietnam Veteran friends whom i regard as close friends. Pretty frustrating....It's common in the Philippines for them to tell you you can't when they don't understand and then they put the burden on you. This isn't uncommon....I avoid using my card, the issue then you run into people who will not take 1000 peso bills or even 500. They want the closest denomination.
