This was hilarious man the frustrations are real with some of these bags. The job is bad enough without the extra struggle. Looking forward to trying badger. I’m walking around with 500 pound leather at the moment I’ve had enough of it
Badger knows what’s up. The belt is actually padded, suspenders are actually squishy and comfortable and the tool bag layout is good. I have a custom set so its even better for me. Definitely worth it brother.
I have the 702 right now for the most part I like it, but like you said you have to wear it super tight or else I get back pain , came across your video looking into switching to badger
I have a belt setup from both and the only thing I miss from my diamond back is their bit index and webbing. Wish Joel could incorporate those and maybe a magnet spot one day
Joel, the guy who makes badger toolbelts is the original designer of diamondback and he sold the company when him and his girlfriend split up. Then he started badger toolbelts. He knows what’s up!
Enjoyed the review bro. I had same problems with the mazo but I did really like the hammer holster with it. When I'm just hanging board I still love my old leather oxy drywall pouch, but im looking into getting some badgers heavy for my more general carpentry/framing setup
Awesome review, I too, had bought the DB Mazo thinking it would hold alot yet still be small. But no, i could hardly fit my nippers in the side pockets leaving no room for other tools in the next pocket. Then i had to buy a hammer holster to attach to it. Now i have ordered a Badger trimmer so i can fit more than nippers in it. Thanks for your side by side comparison.
Cool video. yeah I have the same Diamondbacks and they are hard to get your hands in, but I didn’t use them long enough to break them in. I gave them to one of my apprentices. The hammer sleeve is great. I think I’m going atlas 46 brand on my next ones.
The thing about diamondback is you gotta know what you’re doing picking the pouches I just got badger belt and suspenders but diamond back pouches I got the ox and the Niko
Don’t you close your snips when you put them in your pouch? They’re obviously not going to fit great when you’re shoving them in whilst they’re opened.
I also have bought almost every diamondback piece and just ordered a badger trimmer setup

I had several Diamondback set ups including the 701 vest. Went to the Badger trim set and it’s so much better. Fit,comfort and quality

If you decide to get a set of badger , get the tan color that color is sick.

The larger badger have an extra pocket for a tape or chalk box that also have elastic bit holders
Did you order them from the website or directly from me???? I ALWAYS throw in the stickers!
Badger web site bro
@@amazingframingdrywall7388 they may have run out for a second there. I'll send some from here
You da man homie

Wrong. Jim Skelton is the original diamondback designer. When Jim passed his widowed wife sold the company to Joel's (at the time) girlfriend.
@@jasonyoung6788 I meant to say Joel was the first to come out with the cobra buckle. My mistake.

Does your drywall rasp fit into the tool loop on the badger trimmer tool bag?
It’s a tight fit but it will work
Son, that mazo is a trim bag😂
