Awesome video mate! If anyone has questions, just reach out. It’s hard to show on video, but those 4 pencil slots we’ve got on the dominant side pouch are split into two categories. The first two slots are full-length (for regular carpenters pencils, permanent markers etc.). The next two slots are half-length. The half-length ones are designed for pencils you’ve have for a few weeks, that have become short after constant sharpening, and they also work well for nail punches.
I’m a 1st year apprentice chippy and i use a buckaroo belt with the pouch but I thought it was light but then I use a badger belt and it’s a game changer
Cheers mate! Awesome to hear. Our new ultralight (non-dominant) pouch was definitely designed for those who don’t quite need something with as much storage as our framing version.
I can tell you the belts aren't cheap/flimsy. Obviously, time will be the ultimate test to see how durable they are, but I've used this belt over the past week and love it!
These belts are incredibly well built. They are the opposite of cheap and flimsy. I’ve been using mine (the framing version) for the last 3 months. Aside from being worn in, they have zero signs of wear.

Thankyou!
I am absolutely loving the belt!
3:28 being that I live in the USA, it’s bizarre hearing what we call a ‘cats paw’ called a ‘chickens foot’
Never heard of it as a cats paw! I’d love to work in the states and find out all the different names we call our tools
In New Zealand we call them a Dog Leg.
Smart idea for the small clip on pouch 👍 can see that being extremely useful
Dave after using these pouches for a few months - which option do you prefer? Framing or ultralight or one of each?
I have only used the ultralight so far. I will be using the framing pouches this week and will have a video out on Saturday comparing the two
Want to second this request for an update mate, very interested in your opinion now that you've given this setup a decent trial.

Cladding is Shou Sugi Ban 🤙🏻🤙🏻
I have there original bigger tool bags and suspenders they game changing compared to what I had. Big non dominant side is my only complaint

Forgot to mention the magnets in the suspenders ;)
what kind of hammer is that????
just buy diamondback or badger
They look cheap and flimsy great for a starter belt

Cheap and flimsy, not a chance mate, mate of mine just got one and they feel unreal, the pouches especially are very very good
Definitely not cheap and flimsy. If you get on their site they run you through what it is made of and the durability. Well worth buying.
