@@dreamgirl1652I'll never understand the argument for this or any other "I'd kill the heir even if he bent the knee". Like the bloody guy with a claim gives up his claim in a public ceremony. What's the point of killing him? What he's going to do? Start a war against his sister to become king after claiming he didn't wanted to become king and starting a war against his sister? So basically admit he's an oath breaker while starting a revolt? Who's going to support that? All of Aegon claim is relying on tradition, becoming an oathbreaker would make him unworthy in any tradition!
@@dreamgirl1652if Daemon wanted to kill them he would have done it a long time ago. He would have done it after he married Rhaenyra and had at least his first son with her. Also why would he kill Rhaenyra's siblings and not her Velaryon children? You assume his motivation is taking power because that's the only way this would make sense

Also Aegon didn't want to "stole" the crown from his sister. But Cristol Cole told him Rhaenyra will kill him and his siblings, that's why he accepted being the king
Viserys named her his heir fair and square. He even told her after Aegon was born that he wasnt going to change his mind about making her queen. She was his favorite kid
I am so angry this line was not added to season 1 and also Aegon line as well how and I quote. Aegon My sister is the air not me what kind of brother takes his sister's birthright.
Thats the part I feel the show has failed to portray. Her relationship with her younger siblings is inexistent. She was never really close to them. Some small scenes of them interacting could have made it more believable
I’ve read that there’s a deleted scene in season one where teenage Rhaenyra holds toddler Aegon on her lap, plays with him, and tries to teach him how to say her name. That would have been sweet to see.
She had compassion for the children. Especially Helaena. They showed that on screen. Even meeting with Alicent. She did not want to spill blood, or burn the people down. In episode 1 of course she was bound to be angry about Luc, when she said, "I want Aemond Targaryen." Maybe she wanted to hear what he had to say...especially as the audience know that Aemond did not mean to kill Luc.
Who on this show is compassionate? They live in luxury while 98% of population live miserable lives of servitude in the fields and women are sold like cattle into marriages in exchange for farm animals…???
Well people can have different reasons and Im not trying to invalidate those but from my observations most of them channeling their misogyny by projecting hard in a fantasy world
Because Rhaenyra was morally questionable in the books, as well as Alicent. I’m team green because I think the realm wasn’t ready for a female to sit on the throne. It sucks but nothing would be more noble and selfless than giving up her birthright to maintain peace
Im waiting from any Team Green of their usual depends, "IN THE BOOKS" every time they read/see any videos or any HOTD on tv evry time their fav Team Green depicted not on their favor. And see how are their thoughts of this video since this is based on the books. 😂😂😂😂
She actually loved Helaena and was willing to spare her siblings…they can never make me hate her sorry :/
In the books she is the one who demanded a son for a son not daemond

One thing Otto said was dead wrong! She did not intend to kill them(her siblings).
He wasnt "wrong". He was manipulating his daughter and grandchildren.
Damon would have done that. Belive me. He doesn't Care that Rhany was his Queen.

What a great quote for both of them, and removing them both from the show is a waste. By the way, it is "heir" not "air". Just so you can correct it.

EVERYONE loses in this war. 💔💔💔
Its funny that the greens thought rhenyra saw their children as existential threats when jaherys lit had a ton of kids and dragon riders
I really wish HOTD did the purple eyes like the books it would look so cool on screen
They thought of doing that but the actors portraying the characters did not want to
Didn’t she want aemond tortu..red? Tell my brother I will have my throne or his 👱🏻?
Wish they put the in the show

Isn’t Vesnia supposed to be lived in the books ?
What book are you people making these videos reading?
Fire & Blood by George R.R. Martin
Does Rhaenyra only have boys as children? Jace, Luke, Joffrey, Aegon, Viserys? Cause the little girl died. It’s that correct?
