I played this song for my husband in the last months of his life as he was dying from kidney failure, multiple strokes, and Parkinson’s disease. He loved it as did I, and I played it again for him after he died in the Hospice room. It still makes me cry years later.

Emmy Rossum has the most exquisite voice, both here and in 2022. She was my favorite "Christine" to date, and I don't like listening to any of the others.

Like, you can dislike Raoul all you want, but no, god no, the Phantom is an abusive, manipulative predator who groomed a girl since she was a child and, oh, was a murderer.
