I got to see Phantom of the Opera in 1991 in London while traveling. One evening, my family and I got to see Sarah Brightman sing the Music of Andrew Lloyd Weber. She was exquisite. Then, in July 1991, we got to see Michael Crawford in concert here in Columbus, Ohio. Again, a fabulous performance. I wish I could've seen both performers in Phantom, but I missed out. Still, 35 years after first hearing All I Ask of You on WBNS radio 97.1 I find the song to be hauntingly beautiful.
I know this is years later but, I attended Michael Crawford and Sarah Brightmans Farewell Performance on a Sunday afternoon in Los Angeles. After the peformance, the crowd sang Happy Trails to them. Forever fondly remembered.
