Personally.phantom is number2 for me behind les mis with west side story third. I love seeing different productions of them. They’re the same but different. I also saw love never dies a few times and enjoyed that just as much. Introduced my kids to musicals at a young age and they’re just as hooked as I am
you should hear norm lewis. not to take anything from this phantom, but norm lewis is the most powerful phantom i've heard. probably because he does it in baritone instead of tenor.
Ramin is the best Phantom for me because he has one of the best voice’s ever but also he is such an amazing actor. Every second of dialogue and non-dialogue is executed perfectly. Sierra is the best Christine in my opinion because her voice is literally that of an angel and her acting is fantastic. During music of the night she plays an entire scene perfectly without singing or speaking. And then these two together. I mean when you put an angel together with another angel you will get the 25th anniversary: perfection.
Ramin says when he was interviewed that playing the phantom was hard on his body. I think all the phantoms did an exceptional job. I wish I saw the production in england.
Love Sierra's Christine!!! georgeous looking, beautiful voice, stellar acting, and powerful raw emotions. No wonder ALW said she is the best Christine and is his favorite. Same as Ramin! I believe these two are the best Phantom and Christine pair so far with their off the chart chemistry in the show! Love their performance!
At 14:48, I just realized that the Phantom was also leaning in to touch his face to Christine's. Maybe he just completely forgot that she would feel his mask, or she made him feel that he didn't have it on at all. Either way, it's a bit sad that when he actually tries to embrace someone, she immedialty curls back in fear. I'm wondering if his anger was because she ran away, or because HE was the one who leaned in and caused her to feel the mask, in turn causing her to run away. In other words: I wonder if he was mad at her, or at himself. Subtle details.
Love the way at 9:42 when Christine goes to touch the side of his face with the mask, the Phantom seems the get nervous and panic, quickly grabbing her hand and redirecting it. And then he looks at it and in my opinion seems a little surprized himself, and like he's trying to figure out what to do with her hand quickly cause that wasnt part of the plan lol.
If I'm not mistaken, this recording was released in full during COVID lockdown. Even after having listened to it like 500 times, I spent those 3 hours absolutely mesmerised, frozen on the sofa. Best musical of all times.
Ramin has the most beautiful tenor voices . Perfect for the Phantom . Sierra as well is the perfect Christine. Her voice is amazing and incomparable to ANY other female vocalist . Music of the night is such a sensual, breath taking and beautiful yet sad song . One of my favorites
Love Ramin and Sierra together as Phantom and Christine. I am so happy that I have the soundtracks to both Phantom and Love Never Dies with them singing the leads. Truly a beautiful combination. 💜💜💜
My wife and I went to see Phantom on Saturday at Her Majesty’s Theatre in Londons West End. To say we were blown away is an understatement. Magnificent and emotional
I’m a Japanese high school student. These days, I often listen to this to improve my listening English skill. One day, I want to see “The Phantom of the Opera” in English in the theater outside Japan.
I’m actually an American high school student learning Japanese! Listening to music is definitely a great way to learn. Do you like any Japanese music that you might be able to recommend?
They didn’t have Japanese when I went to high school😢. I would have enjoyed it, I lived in Japan until I was 11, sadly I forgot most of it, my mother is Japanese and father American, he was in the Navy. I’m so sad I don’t remember very much and didn’t teach my kiddos. However, I am training my Great Dane in Japanese😅. She doesn’t care if I make a mistake😆.

My first ever musical or opera was seeing the Phantom in Pantages Theatre in Toronto 1999...I was FREAKING BLOWN AWAY! The staging and performances were incredible and the music...JUST WOW! When I seen it Paul Stanley from Kiss was the Phantom...his evil laugh echoing through the theater was wild!...Stanley was the last Phantom of the 10 year run at the Pantages Theatre.
My wife and I went to see the show at Her Majesty’s Theatre in Londons West End on Saturday. It is the most amazing show on Earth. I haven’t stopped thinking about it since. Only one more year to go in London before it finishes.
Ramin is and will always be the best Phantom ever ! His voice is just phenomenal . And he doesn’t get tired , just keeps right along with all that makeup and wig and all that stuff on
Phenomenal. The male actor especially. He has some prosthetics for the face and his lips don't close still he manages to sing so well! Best rendition ever.

It's real magic, perfect altogether. Staging, acting, singing, music, every tiny detail. I watched the Broadway production this fall, and I was disappointed. I got the sit in the middle of the mezzanine, and I barely heard Cristine's songs and duets. Phantom and the other casts were somehow better, but the only song that filled the theatre with the sound as it should was a prerecorded main theme. It was so frustrating, but the show was supposed to be great, so, I started looking at what I missed here. The production is almost 35 years old and still sold out, how is it actually possible? At first, I watched the film. It was okay as a romantic teenage movie. Don't take me wrong, I like good romantic teenage movies, and this one was okay, but nothing special. I recall I saw it some time ago and forgot easily. I dug further. I read some reviews and critics. And finally found the video of the 25th Anniversary. And everything just came to place. This is how it should be done. Now I watched a lot of different phantoms on youtube, and some of them don't impress me at all (even classical ones - Michael Crawford and Colm Wilkinson. Yes, I believe they can survive that) some are so good that it's not possible to pick the best (John Owen-Jones, Norm Lewis, Ramin of cause), but no one is performing the duet with his Christine connecting so perfectly and has so strong chemistry as Ramin with Sierra. Maybe others weren't so lucky to have good quality video records with their own best partners?
We're considering going next year since it's the last Broadway production but your experience gives me pause. I'd be taking the entire family and it isn't cheap so I'm asking will it be worth it? I just watched Phantom on broadway for the first time a few weeks ago and now it is my favorite musical XD. Ramin and Sierra make this video feel more like a live show and I love it.

The £180 I paid to see this was worth every penny, and since I didn't get enough of it, went and saw the live broadcast at the cinema the following evening! I was obsessed and still am. This performance made me calm down and forgive the casting of Gerard Butler in the movie. In fact, I smile whenever I watch the movie knowing that Ramin's version is immortalised and within reach
Gerard Butler is awesome as the phantom. His phantom is more realistic, more human and has such an emotion, a passion, a seductive mystic the other phantoms on Broadway just don't have or ever will. Ramin is great, well trained like other opera singers, but no matter how well they sing, personally I don't want a theater actor for the movie. It's too dramatic. Broadway isn't the same as film.
This is one of the first musicals I saw on my 18th Birthday and it will always be my favourite. Watching this 31 years later has given me goosebumps. Amazing!!!!
To anybody who's reading this, I pray that whatever is hurting or whatever you are constantly stressing about gets better. May the darks thoughts, the overthinking, and the doubt exit your mind right now. May clarity replace confusion. May peace and calmness fill your life. Have a nice day

Wow what a wonderful treat to have this come out now.. Tomorrow is my birthday and this production with Sierra and Ramin are my absolute favorite! My biggest wish though, is that it be shown in its entirety. I'll think about this while blowing out my candles ❤️ Thank you so much!!!
Phantom is my absolute favorite musical! I love musicals and musical theater. Andrew Lloyd Webber is a genius. I saw Les Miserable in London several years ago when my best friend and I went to the UK. I had seen Phantom twice, so since my friend had not seen either we decided on Les Mis. I have the DVD of Phantom and it's nearly worn outl
Unlike most musicals of The Phantom of the Opera that it was previously known as, this is more of a real opera to me, and less of the musical. Andrew Lloyd Webber, this authentic British composer should now officially be recognized to have written an Opera, along with the musicals he was also pretty much known for. Everything is all there, perfectly clear to me as a genuine Opera, and should be linked to other composers who before him, also composed the Opera.
I love that part in “Past The Point Of No Return” where Christine lifts the hood off of The Phantom! It’s almost like she’s playing Peekaboo with The Phantom there!
Excellent both in lyric and in melody as well as in both sound and sense, this song has made The Phantom of the Opera everlastingly immortal! The non-human phantom here is more "humanistic" than the live human beings. Please keep on singing this classic! Thanks for sharing! Peter Chen @ Taiwan
I've watched the Phantom of the Opera in Manila, Philippines in 2012 and in 2019 with Jonathan Roxmouth as the Phantom and Claire Lyon as Christine. It was unforgettable and I love the music.

My first exposure to this music was in 1991, when we played the OST of this musical in Concert Band class. I was in 8th grade, and I've loved it ever since.
Nadim Naaman is the greatest artist I have ever heard and watched.... I have been dancing since I was 6, music and dancing have always been so natural and vital part of me like breathing... I cannot remember to have been touched so deeply by someone's performance! This is true ART which I feel blessed I had the chance to watch live in Sofia! Thanks so much!!!...
Absolutely loved this show, loved being in the opera house. I think Sarah Brightman was Christine....it was alon time ago. But still get goosebumps listening to it today. Didn't really know tthe storyline then but love the music. Michael Crawford my favorite phantom now.
I honestly miss the old Phantom stage shows where they used actual props for the catacombs.. (Real candles coming out of the stage instead of a giant LED TV in the background)

Just saw it in Monte Carlo in december 2023. With Ramin amazing in live , his voice is the same since then. Such powerful and magistral acting. A real discover for me. Now " he will sing song in my head" forever
I have always had an affinity for Phantom of the Opera because it open at Her Majesty Theater in London on 10/09/1986 which was the day I turned 19 years of age.
Me too. Did you read the book, that begins at the day poor Eric was born? I LOOOOVE that book. It tells his whole story. I've never really understood why he's considered evil. She should have shown him that he is lovable and should have given everything to really get to him. If she really loved him, she would have. And I find, after reading the book, there are some things that are endearing about Eric. Much more, he was even a particularly sensitive, attentive and special person. He just despairs of the world. The people who saw in him only the disfigured monster. All he searched for was love, as every human being does, that never had the love of the own mother, but probably failed because of not being able to feel love for himself. This is so tragic and somehow extremely Of course there is a lot more symbolism in it and we shouldn't just look at it from one and especially not only from the obvious point of view. Phantom of the opera, for me, is the most amazing musical...and the book is something you should read, if you feel sympathy and compassion for Eric already after watching Phantom of the Opera. It is somehow very unfair that a person should be damned who never learned to love himself because his own mother was so incapable. Because the inability actually lies with the mother and also the crippling, how I would call it. Not with the child. How unfair is it then please, indeed downright gruesome, that a person should be damned because, precisely because his own mother never showed him the love for him .. her child, in the end he may not be saved or run to his ruin, or perhaps damned maybe even in the eyes of a higher power precisely because he never learned to love himself. Well, I definitely can't imagine that, because that would be so simple, so insignificant and meaningless. Such a being should experience grace and mercy through true love. Real, true love .. God .. CAN ONLY BE THAT WAY!!!
I hadn't known this since last year. Turns out my mother is obsessed with it. She watched it seven times but before my brother and i were born. After that she couldn't pay for the tickets. So we bought her tickets for her birthday. You should have seen her face. I've never seen such a joy on her.

To anybody who's reading this, I pray that whatever is hurting or whatever you are constantly stressing about gets better. May the darks thoughts, the overthinking, and the doubt exit your mind right now. May clarity replace confusion. May peace and calmness fill your life. Have a nice day
Thanks
Thanks. So appropiate
Pray the God to help you and him. When he dies you will love him, his passion and understsnd that you were really loved deeply, at least once, yet you were not , could not return lthis love . Oh my dear it is too late now.
Timing in my GOD. HE planned anything and do anything good to the ones who love HIM.... Understand?!?! ❤
Master of the masters, King of the kings, then, Song of the songs, again..... Believe? Hope? Love? ❤❤❤The Savior died for you and me.... We reborned. ❤
I watched the entire show (this version) yesterday and cannot get the music out of my head. I will forever regret not being able to see it live on Broadway! Absolutely magnificent production snd performances.
How do you get the entire of this version? I am dying to get one.
@@tiptonst It's on Google TV

Wow what a wonderful treat to have this come out now.. Tomorrow is my birthday and this production with Sierra and Ramin are my absolute favorite! My biggest wish though, is that it be shown in its entirety.

When I' was sixteen years old, I read the book Phantom of the opera and fall in Love with it for all my life.
В каждом человеке живёт Божественная Любовь! Эта опера раскрывает у нас прекрасные чувства! Равнодушных мало!
This is by far the best production of Phantom of the Opera that I've seen they're all good but this is excellent
I love the phantom of the opera, I could rewatch thousands of times and still love it more, every single version of it ❤❤
I‘ve watched this play twice at Her Majesty’s theatre in London. Love it so much! One of the best musical play!
that guitar riffs towards the end of "the phantom of the opera" is the coolest thing ive ever heard! ughh so good.
大好きな公演で、DVDを何回繰り返し観たか分かりません!
本当に素晴らしい歌声です✨
Phantom is my absolute favorite musical! I love musicals and musical theater. Andrew Lloyd Webber is a genius. I saw Les Miserable in London several years ago when my best friend and I went to the UK. I had seen Phantom twice, so since my friend had not seen either we decided on Les Mis. I have the DVD of Phantom and it's nearly worn outl
I looooove classical! The Phantom of the Opera added life back into the Opera 🎭🫶🏼✨🌟🎤🎶
I’m so glad I went to see this in NYC. It was one of the most memorable musical ever!
This will forever be my favorite broadway show in the history of broadway
Unlike most musicals of The Phantom of the Opera that it was previously known as, this is more of a real opera to me, and less of the musical. Andrew Lloyd Webber, this authentic British composer should now officially be recognized to have written an Opera, along with the musicals he was also pretty much known for. Everything is all there, perfectly clear to me as a genuine Opera, and should be linked to other composers who before him, also composed the Opera.
Brilliant performance. The best version of the Phantom of the Opera.
What music, what voices, what acting! I am speechless.
I love that part in “Past The Point Of No Return” where Christine lifts the hood off of The Phantom! It’s almost like she’s playing Peekaboo with The Phantom there!

I love Phantom of the Opera, but Music of the Night is my absolute favorite. 😍
I just love it and always will do fantastic going deep to my heart
I saw it in Toronto years ago. It was amazing, but the cast was nothing like this. So perfect!
Best compilation! Sierra and Ramin, especially are magnificent
I consider them the modern heirs to Sarah Brightman and Michael Crawford..............
These two are wonderful. But for me, Gerard and Emmy, especially are magnificent.
💕💕💕
just pure genius..the entire production
This is bringing tears to my eyes. Beautiful memories seeing this several times in Atlanta at the Fox theater. 😢
As much as I appreciate Michael Crawford as the original Phantom Ramin Karimloo has the perfect voice for how I see the character of The Phantom
They are perfect to each other. Whatta perfect tandem for these perfect renditions of the songs!!! Loveit!!!
Spot on!
I've watched the Phantom of the Opera in Manila, Philippines in 2012 and in 2019 with Jonathan Roxmouth as the Phantom and Claire Lyon as Christine. It was unforgettable and I love the music.
I loved this presentation. It's my favorite of all. Better than the original broadway production and cast.
Breathtaking performance that always make me tearful with joy.
love love love love love Ramin's voice
No love=no life, useless, useless, useless.... Nothing.... 😢🤣
I haven't listened to this soundtrack in years. I got chills. Thank you for posting.
In sleep he sang to me
In dreams he came
That voice which calls to me
And speaks my name
And do I dream again?
For now I find
The phantom of the opera is there
Inside my mind
Sing once again with me
Our strange duet
My power over you
Grows stronger yet
And though you turn from me
To glance behind
The phantom of the opera is there
Inside your mind
Those who have seen your face
Draw back in fear
I am the mask you wear
It's me they hear
My spirit and my voice
In one combined
The phantom of the opera is there
Inside my mind
In all your fantasies
You always knew
That man and mystery
Were both in you
And in this labyrinth
Where night is blind
The phantom of the opera is here
Inside my mind
Sing my angel of music
He's there
The phantom of the opera
Ah
Ah
Ah (sing for me)
Ah (sing my angel of music)
Ah, ah, ah, (sing for me)
Ah
we were fortunate to see the Original of the Phantom on Broadway breathtakin, mesmerizing, thank you for posting
You all have filled my heart with joy. Thank you for your kind words!
All my favorite songs, thank you so much! Love Sierra and Ramin, they're the best.
My first exposure to this music was in 1991, when we played the OST of this musical in Concert Band class. I was in 8th grade, and I've loved it ever since.
I saw the N.Y.C. Broadway production in 1988 after moving to N.Y.C in June of 1987! Excellent!
Exquisite singing in this powerful stage production . Banderas is sublime in the role . I remember watching entranced at Broadway in 2012 .
So beautiful music and perfect performance. Bravo!
Its magnificent!!!!!! Our favorite! , rite?🙌👏👏👏👏🌹💓
Breath taken nd crying, what a lovely story. One of the best.
How can such creation be ever forgotten. Show me such today🥲
Woooooooooo!!!! Sing!!!! She’s divine!! This is sensational.
Such powerful, yet crystal-clear voices...
Ramin and Sierra are the best for me! What an amazing voices and acting!
The story is so sad , yet is so beautiful....love....
Sientes la angustia y ansiedad como propias y él sentimiento de amor en escala incalculable , él corazón está allí
Now this is a compilation I will save for the rest of my life. My favorite song has to be “Phantom of the Opera”. 😎
The music and singing reach my soul like some hand invisibly touches my heart. So appreciated.
(Real candles coming out of the stage instead of a giant LED TV in the background)
probably much more costly and time consuming bc props can break/wear down.
@@whorror7406 Oh absolutely! That and likely more cost efficient in general.. Still a stunning stage play regardless
I'm so in love with Ramin as the Phantom...and Sierra is a fabulous match....BEST EVER Phantom & Christine!!!

Just saw it in Monte Carlo in december 2023. With Ramin amazing in live , his voice is the same since then. Such powerful and magistral acting. A real discover for me. Now " he will sing song in my head" forever
Perfeição senhores.
Holy Moses, I thought Michael Crawford and Colm Wilkinson could not be topped. Boy was I wrong! First time hearing this and wow........just wow!
Foi um grande presente para meus 77 anos, encontrado parte de belíssima opera! Gratidão!
The Phaaaaantom of the opera is HEEERE!🖤
Álomszép opera,előadás!! köszönöm szépen,a gyönyörű,videót!
