@@MrRemo71 Sorry for such a late reply, I never got a notification for this. Man, it was mainly the color for me. I just wanted to make sure that Simmons model was worth the price. And I was not disappointed, I love it

@@MrRemo71 Crimson has better sounds, Simmons has better durability from what I know
Don’t do it. I bought one 2 months ago, it’s sitting in storage. It’s not a user friendly module and the mesh pads are too zone sensitive, same as the ride trigger. Not a good purchase to make, you will be disappointed.

Fantastic looking kit! I think it looks better than the newer 1250 and much better than the Rolands in its price range. That blue and gray really pops!

I've been playing for over 50 years professionally and I don't hear much difference in the sounds between Simmons and Roland ...at least in videos .. but the price dif? Holy Moses!

I’m a long-time acoustic drummer. Because I respect my neighbors, I asked for and received a Simmons SD1200. Is the key only for tightening up the rack and mounting hardware or does it help tune the drum heads? I’m completely new to electric drums of any variety. I asked for the Simmons based on reviews, availability and pricing.

The double pedal is my own pedal. It did not come with it.
I've heard the bass drum pad isn't good with a double pedal? Have you tried one on this kit?
