There are hundreds of uses for this amazing stuff. Haven’t tried it in the toilet yet, but tonight I discovered that the magic erasers work amazingly well in the toilet bowl! Yes, but you will be back cleaning those headlights again eventually, it is only a temporary fix, but can last a long time. Headlight lenses fade due to the protective coating being removed due to lack of proper cleaning. Once they fade the only permanent fix is new lenses or whole new lights. Or just keep on with the WD 40.

Some fantastic advice back. A very expensive professional rug and carpet cleaner on yt showed how simple windex or even the Dollar Tree version will take out any stain. Always blot as u go along too, it does help, but he said he charges so much money, and merely uses windex.
It may take him time and several tries, but he gets it out.

    Hi there!
I'm new to the channel but not to hacks. I use Oxi-Clean ($1.00 Tree version) & put a scoop of that into an empty Dawn bottle & fill it with hot water & shake it well. Let it sit for 10-15 minutes & shake it up again to make sure you have everything mixed together. Then I get 3 rags & 2 of them I get wet. First I squirt the Oxi-Clean liquid on the stain & gently scrub it around. Then I use the other wet rag to rinse it & the 3rd rag is used to pat out any extra liquid left behind. I use this for everything from ring around the collar, dirty sleeves, stains on clothes & the method for cleaning up spots on the carpet.
My carpet is about the same color as yours & have never tried it on a colored carpet so I would try a test area in a closet before using on the stain.
I have used this on colored clothes & to presoak nasty whites.
This stuff does work & good luck 🤞!

I love the WD40 hacks and use them often but there are 2 things I've found it won't work on. Permanent ink on you fabric or mold on my sons favorite tshirt that he put in a plastic grocery bag because it was wet from getting pushed in the lake and shoved it under his bed for almost a year. My friend was visiting when I found the tshirt. She saturated a moldy spot on the shirt with cheap dollar tree hair spray and then scrubbed it by rubbing the spot against each other with her hands and it took it right out. I did the rest of the shirt then threw it in the washer and dryer and It looked good as new! (It was a bright yellow Tshirt)

My dog played with the putty that I had bought to develop more strength in my hands-she got it all over the carpet. I read the using WD-40 on the putty and then following it up with a little carpet cleaner helped. Since the carpet was ruined with the putty, I had nothing to lose, and the WD-40 got up the putty!

If you need to remove adhesives or stickers you don’t need to use any chemicals. Most people already own a hair dryer, just point the hair dryer on the label you need to remove and once the adhesive gel underneath is melting you can peel off whatever it is.
