Beware! All these are valid but it's extremely difficult to rid the smell of WD-40 from whatever you use it on.

You can also remove bloom (water marks) off oil paintings (and clean them), as long as they are on panel or canvas. Just don't spray it on (use cotton wool), and don't try it on a Monet.

be careful when cleaning your shoes with it as it neutralizes glue (some old shoes have "glued on" soles)
so true, thanks for mentioning....so this can be more harmful as all the leather can come off. Many shoes just use glue to stick the leather.

For the zipper one there is an easier way: just take a pencil and just rub the graphite on the zipper and it zips up

This works great for shower door soap buildup. Mine about 20 years of soapy buildup I couldn’t get off for the life of me. After wd40 they look brand new.

WD 40 = # 1 Water displacement, the rest is ,.. actually history. Some claim it works for their arthritis, and I believe it to be a great product MINUS the fact that the can runs out of propellant WAY before the solvent. MENTAL NOTE; If I want to recharge this can, make sure I have the equipment, ie, say,.. a rotor off a truck to CONTAIN that fukin thing if it desides to give you the WHAT FOR. ...and no, don't spray that shit on your boots cuz it ain't gun work. PEACE
