The Military Mom Handbagger It sure did. Amazing what we come up with. Cheap is a good thing. I have had that flower die for quit a few years. It was perfect for this. TFW Hugs, Bobbie
Once upon a time I did make-up... now I value my sleep too much! Thank you for a great way to use some of the redundant stuff cluttering up my bathroom cabinet...
I tons of old shadows I thought would get thrown away. Not now. I also have even older pastels..... Which makes me think using spray fixative like on pastels would be a good idea for the shadows too.
Funny enough years and years ago when i was in HIGH school i had to finish a History assignment on tbe bus that needed to be colored. The only colors I had in my bag happened to be my eye shadow . 😂🌺🌺🌺❤❤❤
Great technique, I assume it will rub off, but how much comes off? I guess if you dont want the powder to come off you can use the fixative spray to seal it?
Bridget Willis Hi Bridget. I have to be honest, I don't know about any type of fixative. I have not tried any. I would suggest hairspray. Just some cheap stuff . It is a powder so, any liquid will cause it to run. TFW Hugs, Bobbie
I get a kick out of hearing your cat playing with its ball toy. My first cat loved the ball that spun around the cardboard center. I love what you’re doing with eyeshadow. Thanks for tutorial. 😊
Thank you so much. I love to try different things in.my crafting.yea, that was Joey. Sorry to say that he is no longer with us. I still have my male cat Ozzy
Thank you Megan! my dollar tree does not get all the goodies like that. I live in a small town and we don't get much in the craft department. Glad you get them though. Happy crafting! hugs, Bobbie
There are a few ways. #1 you an use a extra hold hair spray. #2 Glossy accents, #3 you can add some glitter glue or just plain clear glue to seal it. Hope that helps! TFW Bobbie
Thanks. I got the message. This is the first time that I've seen this craft idea. When I get a minute, I'll look into how much it cost for paper, stamps, punches, etc.
misstorina3 It just sticks to the paper on it's own. You can spray it lightly with some hair spray. The foam adapter rubs it in pretty good. I have not had a problem with it rubbing off. Do not use photo paper. You will only have a mess. I hope that helped. Hugs, Bobbie
My old cheap eye shadows are very poorly pigmented. Do you have any idea of how I can get them more pigmented? By the way I love the way you colored in that flower!
Good question. I would either try chalk to match it up with the color or just buy some cheap eye shadow. Other then that. I really don't know. Go to the pound store and pick up a multi color pack. I hope that helped. Thank you for the compliment. Hugs, Bobbie
You have not crafted unless you get messy ... and here was me going to give my eyeshadows to my daughter, becasue like you, I do not use makeup like most people do ;) I am thinking to go get Christmas stamping and do this :) Thank you *hugs*
Hi Karry, Christmas stamping? I would love to see your creations. I just subscribed to your channel. Will you be putting up more videos? Your welcome. Hugs!!!
@@BobbiesCreationsandMore I really have to get my A into G on more videos :) thank you for asking about that. I will do my best to get some of those Christmas Stamping ideas up before Christmas this year lol
@@BobbiesCreationsandMore I will :) I thought I had an eye shadow palette, turns out it was a whole pallet of Avon lipsticks *sigh* oh well, tomorrow I will go to our cheapie shop and see what is there on the eye shadows :) then into the cards.
Hi Bobbie thats a great alternative to chaĺk which I quit buying because of the cost, I wondered about eyeshadow but thought it would cost even more, now why did t i think of the dollar store, thanks for reminding me of the obvious, duh😐😐
Michelle Regis Lol. Np. We all need a little reminder once in awhile. It really is a great way to save money. Works great! And since I did this video. The color is still looking good. It has not faded. So, get your rear to the Dollar Store! :). TFW Hugs, Bobbie
I am sorry. Tried to leave you a reply on my phone but, did not go through. Any type of cheap extra hold like Aqua Net or anything from the dollar or pound shop. Most cheap hair sprays do not have oil in them so, they will dry fast. Hope that helps! Hugs, Bobbie
Mary Jones I used Georgia Pacific brand (from Walmart) cardstock. I have not tried it on any other type of paper. Experiment on other types of paper and see witch one you like the best. Have fun! Hugs, Bobbie
My grandma tells me eye shadows expiring is a hoax.. Not sure how true it is, but I think she may be right. She still uses her eyshadow way back from 1980s and she's been ok..
You can spray your items with hair spray to set the color so it won't rub off.
yes you can just make sure there no left over dust from the color you used
it also brings out the colors more.
This video makes me feel warm☺️ like my Grandma is teaching me crafts❤️
Coco Thank you! Glad you enjoyed the video. TFW Hugs, Bobbie
Omggggggggg....boy have i been missing out!!!!!! This video been out since 2015......love love love your technique!!!!

How do you seal the eyeshadow color on cardstock so it doesn’t rub off?

What can you replace the clear stamp ink with? It is hard to find those where I live.
You can spread some of this on the pad.
Petroleum jelly
Yes as we age we can’t wear the shiny nice eyeshadow but it’s so Pretty to use for art medium

What can you do from keeping the shadow from coming off when touch?
Try extra dry hairspray or use a sealer of your choice. Have not tried it but, it may just work.

Sounds like a Dundalk accent
I have never heard of that. Where is it?
@@BobbiesCreationsandMore There is a place called Dundalk in Ireland. Personally I don't think you have an Irish accent at all. :-)
