    I have done this with this stencil before but never thought to use it for Christmas. Great idea. Have also used this stencil for making prints.

    I'll be getting some gold embossing powder as soon as I manage to mat cards with a 1/16" border (which may take a while). The narrow black border is a perfect finishing touch on those cards - so elegant!

    O really cool you used the heat gun to dry the paint/ink which finish off the paint adhesion with the glitter. You could probably used paint/food coloring sugar if you don't have the glitter. However the durability is a question.

      sam111880 It's not glitter. It's embossing powder. Glitter and embossing powder are different. The powder is made specifically for this purpose.

    Can you emboss on leather craft, means on the leather surface, if so, are they permanent or washed away by time.

    Gina, what a neat way to get more use out of my stencils! Thanks for this video. When I’ve used stamps with large, filled areas (like a leave silhouette), I’ve found that flicking Perfect Pearls in different colors over the “raw” embossing powder is a nice way to add additional color and “texture” to the otherwise flat area. When you emboss the powder, it holds the Perfect Pearls in place. I’m thinking the stencil and perfect pearl techniques would pair well, too.

    I wonder if heat in general would cure paint much fast regardless of arts and craft i.e for cars, tattoos ,boats , drywall ,...etc
