No header? No problem, we'll print it out of inconel 😂 You can tell that Stephan makes these videos just to show us how it's done and not for profit/views. Mad respect.
Was just thinking what it would take to be his apprentice. Probably a master's in engineering to begin with. What makes him so one of a kind is growing with the tech as it became available. You can't pay for that kind of experience. It's priceless.
True, stuffs not even that hard to do you only need like a couple $1M to do it and a big brain. Kinda crazy how some people take so long to do something with such a low barrier to entry.
Also they aren’t trying to make more revenue or money out of their youtube they do it for informative reasons. RUclipsrs 90% do it for a consistent amount of video’s
It's so amazing to see the inside of a high end race operation like this. Thank you Stephen for sharing your shop with us, and for going above and beyond to produce such amazingly dense and informative videos. Can't wait for the next installment on your subcompact off-roader!

The no nonsense approach and the high level of technicality that you somehow package into these sub 20 minute videos is eye opening. Love these uploads!
this is so enjoyable, I like that it's all the thinking that went behind his decisions and clearly explains why he made these decisions. No BS, love it!!
Mate, you are both an artist and an inspiration! I teach automotive engineering in New Zealand. My students absolutely love your vids and they work wonders for getting them enthusiastic about our trade. Thanks heaps!!
Thanks for including all the detailed info on the build methods you're using. Things like the cleco fasteners, rivet nuts, the type of filament for printing bushings, all great ideas to have in a mental toolbox.
I always enjoy seeing that Papadakis Racing has a new video. Always something really cool to look at. Very well done fab work and such attention to detail. GL this season.
You are extraordinarily intelligent, organized, and creative. No doubt you could be a top rocket designer for space X. Your attention to detail and shop cleanliness-orderliness permeates all you do and is vital to success. Most don't understand this. It is a real pleasure to watch your concise rapid fire videos. All content, no bs, fully honest and straightforward. Yah, I mean all these compliments sincerely. I'm over 70 yrs old btw and am so glad to see much younger people that I can immediately respect. There's hope.
Steph's builds are legit. Absolutely beautiful and amazing. Been a fan of his since the Battle of the Import drag racing days in the mid 1990s, he has always been at the top of the game!
Still one of the best RUclips channels. You do such a good job getting to the point, keeping things simple, but still respecting your viewers' intelligence by including the complicated parts as well.
Papadakis is amazing!! That is the cleanest shop ever! If I had the opportunity to work in a shop like yours building bad ass cars and racing, i would in a heart beat.
You already had me already hitting the like bottom when You explaining about the Cage great job on the build all your builds are amazing keep up the good job i would always be watching every build💪🔥
Damn so you guys basically bought a new car stripped it all down and like built it all up completely like down to the suspension and everything and like changing around everything like huge props and respects to you man and your team
I love how Stephen breaks down the build - just straight forward, efficient, and doesn't waste time or act like a pompous jerk flexing. What an amazing build!!!
Dude. I don't even know what to say. ***EIGHT WEEKS***?!?!? I don't know how that's even possible- the amount of design & fab alone seems like that would push it out of that window- let alone actually putting everything together, troubleshooting, testing, etc. This is unbelievably impressive. So incredibly cool. Great job, guys. Great job.
Listening to Stephan explain how they turned a factory car into a full racecar, he makes it sound so easy. The skill he and his team have makes these videos so fun, they make it look so easy.
Love watching your videos really some of the best racing content online. From someone who works in the industry, you can see the quality and dab that goes into this is absolutely top notch
papadakis racing is on another level back to back to back to back new motor/chassis/hasn't been done before combos, all built to the highest of motorsport standards the execution and problem solving/solutions is what really sets him and hsi team apart. that run at the end of 2 papdakis racing built FD pro cars going all out neither driver giving an inch that's some pure #joyofmachine
That was… incredible. My jaw was literally on the ground for the entire length of that video. Absolutely incredible that you and your team can do this kind of modification and fabrication!

no head???? 😔
He and Dom are one hell of a 1-2/Engineer-Fabricator punch. Those guys are on another level.
this level of work is amazing, these guys really are on another level, their supra build was nuts as well
And now, a new video by _"Money is No Object-Productions"_
The work-quality is just ridiculous, not to mention aggregating this talent-pool.
Was just thinking what it would take to be his apprentice. Probably a master's in engineering to begin with. What makes him so one of a kind is growing with the tech as it became available. You can't pay for that kind of experience. It's priceless.
Other RUclipsrs spend 2 years putting a turbo kit on a car, while Papadakis builds a whole crazy car and puts it in a concise, 11-minute video
To be fair, they are professionals, with a crew and a big budget
True, stuffs not even that hard to do you only need like a couple $1M to do it and a big brain. Kinda crazy how some people take so long to do something with such a low barrier to entry.

Definitely has nothing to do with the fact he owns and runs a business specifically dedicated to building race cars.
Hahahaha lmao
Damn another freaking awesome overview video. Never get tired watching those. The detail and engineering that goes into these builds is unreal.

He said on Instagram that he wants to put the B58 in an A80 Supra.
I'd love to know what they could do with the new S58
I mean, from an engineering point of view, the only thing good about the b58 over a 2jz is weight and stock oil pump.

i always appreciate the videos, thank you, never stop
What an insane build, but I guess that's to be expected with Papadakis, they are all on another level... and in 8 weeks!
Yeah that time frame is nuts! This would be a 12 month build for a lot of other shops
I love the amount of CAD and 3d printing you guys use. Really makes your builds next level and cuts production time.
John is one of those drivers that I’ve been waiting for a good car and good crew, dude is unrated as hell
Yeah man he did great at Long Beach! I'm looking forward to seeing him in Atlanta.
The way you got around fitting the roll cadge was super ingenious very very impressed good job guys lobe watching your videos
it's pretty standard actually... cuz every cage fitter faces these same problems.
Ummm 🤔 no that’s just how it’s done. Like he said. It’s that or chop the roof off.
I dont care! I'm giving thumbs up before watching whole video
I always do that. It takes a lot of time to make videos and that's one of the ways to say thank you!
Same!
He deserves a like even if you don't like the video. I wish I had a workshop like him
Wait, that’s not normal?
Formula Drift has 2 of most unique GR86, this B58 powered one, and Ken's 1GR powered one.
Great video. Voice over is so much better.
Good explanations and trouble shooting too.
Some track car videos would be great!
That supra engine is one of the best sounding engines.

Its such a delight to listen to Papadakis. All the nitty gritty, all the details, i dont get bored at all. I could listen to this for hours. 😁
What's the budget on something like this???
$400k?? The attention to detail is just amazing!
If you have $400K to spend on a drift car you might as well make it out of solid gold or something lol
Honestly probably more... wages, materials.. idk I'd guess over 400k
I guess like 700k
Around 80k - 100k USD i guess
@@ultimate_coolguy1927 only the engine and the transmission is like 100k

10:08 this thing is a monster!!!!
Amazing video, Papadakis never fails us.
your ability to bring this stuff down to a level that I can understand is unbelievably impressive. And thank you for doing so!
I always enjoy seeing that Papadakis Racing has a new video. Always something really cool to look at. Very well done fab work and such attention to detail. GL this season.
Waiting on more Rav4 content, great video as usual

just all the design work is amazing to me. you inspire me to keep going down this career paths
Love your use of 3D printing in automotive modification.
These are some of the best and most entertaining videos on RUclips.
Wild how you used the best of modern fabrication like literally printing metal and then you go and spraypaint the thing 😂
Love how you manage to put so much detail in such a short period. Always such great content!
You're a legend Stephan !
Wow wow wow. The paint job and portable paint booth is just incredible
Steph's builds are legit. Absolutely beautiful and amazing. Been a fan of his since the Battle of the Import drag racing days in the mid 1990s, he has always been at the top of the game!
I love how you show small interestimg stuff for us nerds and mechanics. Nice job!
I wish more channels with cool builds made such simple and informative videos like these.
Man I love this Channel, no fluff or dragging things out. Straight to the point and breaking down exactly what's involved
This is so satisfying to watch, one video of a complete build using the most advanced components and technologies in the racing community today.
The engineering from the Papadakis team always amazes me. I love seeing people passionate about continuously improving design.
Still one of the best RUclips channels. You do such a good job getting to the point, keeping things simple, but still respecting your viewers' intelligence by including the complicated parts as well.
As a 3d print enthusiast i LOVE how seamlessly 3d printing has started fitting into workflows

Such an amazing build, as always, from the legendary Papadakis! Gotta say, Castro on this new chassis gonna be a menace, he killed it at LB!!
Papadakis Racing, IMPECCABLE as always !
You won't find content like this anywhere, Other youtubers can make 2 3 months of videos with the stuff he has just shown us in 11 minutes. Respect 🙌
The quality of everything on this build is insane, and 3D printing exhaust manifold and bushings...just insane skill and ingenuity shown there 👌
I cannot express how much I love and appreciate these build videos. It is so cool to see the process at a skill level of this caliber
This is SO good. I don't mind the common 10-20 minute build time-lapse videos, but these concise explainers you guys do are on another level.
b58 sounds so good
the clip at the end gives me goosebumps.. so cool to see how all that work pays off! Keep it up!!
More on the GR86 please!
Watching your movies is such a pleasure, please, we need more :D
I am so happy that you posted a video the GR86 drift build. I LOVE IT!
Total production of your team is off the charts.. Love watching your videos super interesting!!

so cool to watch the process after seeing the car perform at FD long beach. Sick!
This is how a build video should be done, short and sweet and in depth at the same time.
Damn so you guys basically bought a new car stripped it all down and like built it all up completely like down to the suspension and everything and like changing around everything like huge props and respects to you man and your team
This man is insane. The quality of his work never lets down
I love how Stephen breaks down the build - just straight forward, efficient, and doesn't waste time or act like a pompous jerk flexing.
What an amazing build!!!
I feel like you have crammed 100's of man hours into a 11 minute video, awesome work guys look awesome!
That engine mount design is beautiful, love the centre disconnect
I had no idea you were using a Rocket Bunny body kit. That's awesome! Another amazing video from the Papadakis camp.
We need an in-depth 2 hour video !! I could watch this all day
Massive thumbs up to the team/crew for this build! Best of luck in the upcoming seasons.

So much detail and attention to detail. Thank you!
That’s mad! Video and building quality are premium!
There is some support for the b58 motor but people act like it’s a whole different motor
Yep
And it's not like the new range rover Is ganna get a M division engine like the supra
The goat of drift builds right here.
Mann that is such an awesome build everything has a purpose and well-thought-out. Love it!
LOL @ the end where he hit the curb... I could watch your vids all day.

Always a treat. Hopefully grcorolla in the future !
i read that as gorilla.
What a shop and what a team of builders. PapadakisRacing always on point
That thing looks like it was about to wheelie on the dyno. Insanely quality build and video.
You and your team are on another level. You make this build look effortless.
I love that they arent just shoving in a 2jz like many others. Great work!
They spent too much developing that B58 for the supra, it make sense for them to continue using it, plus the engine is newer and has better support.
@@obkf-too Yeah dude I love it, the B58 is putting out some serious numbers and they clearly have success with it
Cant wait for your GR Corolla build ;)
I'd like to say I'm a simple person, I see a new Papadakis video I hit like.
You build beautiful works of art with your team sir I have enjoyed your cars since the yellow hatch back keep it up
