    00:00:34 Compatibility with XBOX and PC, NOT PlayStation
    00:01:09 Not the T-800 (have been watching Terminator too much) or T808 but the T818 of course
    Apoligies for the mistakes!

    I have the TSPC and it was such a step up from my 10 year old Logitech MOMO Black. I'll eventually switch to DD but I'm in no such hurry as the TSPC is serving my needs perfectly fine. Thank you for this content mate! Love from Canada!

      Sometimes when i read fora on Facebook it feels like everyone is losing their minds and selling their good bases to buy DD, not because it is such an upgrade, but because they are hyped by others to do so. I am always happy to read a comment like yours. Thank you for taking the time to comment.

    So glad you reviewed this base ! I have the TS -XW only because I really like the red accent. This wheel base is really a marvel in engineering, It blurs the line between DD and belt drive and IMO gives you all you need in a sim . I really do not feel a need to upgrade to a DD if it's even an upgrade at all ! Still as viable now as it was when it came out in 2017 . TM did a fantastic job with this base . One of the best out there still . You cannot go wrong . Great review ! I love mine with the sparco rally wheel rim . Plenty of pros still use it for a reason . Peace !

      because you didn´t checked out a DD , I bought a Moza R9 and CS wheel coming from an overheating T300, an my friend that had an TS-XW camed by to check it out and 2 days later ordered one, he was telling me that he got home and noticed that half of the details he could not notice with the TS-XW and I know that wheel base its very good so DD its definetly a big step up from any belt drive unit

    Hey bro, just stumbled across your video. Any suggestions please, I've owned my TS-XW for just over 2 years with light casual use on xbox one. On average of playing just 2 hours a week due to work commitments and it suddenly what seemed to jam up. The steering went very stiff in game play and I had to use all my strength to actually stear the car and turn the wheel. It wouldnt calibrate next time I switched it on so I decided to do a firmware update but after that it just wouldn't turn on at all and the pc wouldnt recognize the usb (base)
    I put my ear to the base and could hear a slight noise. USB cable and turbo power pack/adapter all working fine (tested those on friend's ts-xw)
    So disappointed because its hardly been used really with very low ff setting too.
    Any suggestions please?

      Hmm.. seems it is bricked. You could try getting it in bootloader. Didnt try it before with wheelbases but with mobile phones, it works fine. ts.thrustmaster.com/download/accessories/manuals/TSXWRacer/TSXWRacer_Bootloader_Method.pdf

    Is there is a big difference between them and t300 ? And is the t300 good for the sf1000 f1 wheel?

    • @SimulatedDrivingResource
      @SimulatedDrivingResource  Месяц назад

      The difference is notable yes. It has about 50% more power and is imo also just a bit smoother. Nonetheless T300 is a fine base and if you are planning to upgrade, I would recommend more going to a direct drive. The SF1000 will work on your T300 yes.

    They are same minus Xxbox. They are one of the best Servos ever made.
    I can tell you from three years with my TS-XW to the Moza R12. I wast worth the upgrade. The detail difference is noticeable but not night and day. Going from Logitechs to the RS 300 was so night and day that I had to get the TS-XW.
    Point is , if you are already on a RS300 or better and want to go to DD. Don't wast you money unless you plan on hitting the 12nm area at the very least. If you are on Logitech then probably get any belt drive servo and it will feel so much better.

    I'm in bit of a toss up between this one and the TGT 2 . I can get a TS pc for 600 CAD on Fakebook market place , someone on Fakebook wants 1200 for the TGT 2 yet I can get it for 900 CAD new on Amazon tired get him to be reasonable and Offred 600 but he practically told me where to go . What do you think should I get the TS PC used or just go get the TGT 2 new ? If they are all the same wheel ( I play on on PC ) . One issue in Canada is a lot of people want close to retail price for their used things , they dont seem to understand that once something leaves the store shelf it devaluates by 40 to 70% even if the box has never been open .and Why would someone pay close to retail for something used when they get new

    • @SimulatedDrivingResource
      @SimulatedDrivingResource  2 месяца назад

      TS-PC is the same as T-GT on PC since you can't use its 'special' feature on PC (only PS Gran Turismo series). So if the choice is between those, TS-PC. As a bonus, it looks nicer too.

    • @SimulatedDrivingResource
      @SimulatedDrivingResource  2 месяца назад

      Correct. The function is called T-DFB (Depth Force Feedback) and works only on Gran Turismo franchise. What it does is takes sound and transduces it to haptic feedback (you can see it with the grille on the front, there is some sort of speaker behind). So you can feel revving of your engine for example. Its a very nifty thing similar to TrueForce of Logitech and FullForce of Fanatec. Some find it pollution of force feedback, I am a very big fan of it.

    Das macht mich echt fertig... Überlege schon seit Monaten mit Sim Racing zu beginnen. Hab mich informiert so gut es geht. Ich weiss fast Alles, ohne das es eingebildet klingt. Fanatec kann nicht liefern, Moza funktioniert auf der PS5 nicht. Soll ich echt jetzt 1000€ für nen PC ausgeben?! Oder einfach dieses Wheel für PS.. In der heutigen Zeit wo der Einstieg in die Direct Drive Welt so günstig geworden ist?

    • @SimulatedDrivingResource
      @SimulatedDrivingResource  Год назад

      Wenn Sie eine PlayStation haben, kaufen Sie etwas, das für PlayStation geeignet ist. Sie können einen T-GT oder T-GT 2 kaufen, die bereits sehr gute Hardware sind und auf einem Gebrauchtmarkt relativ "günstig" zu kaufen sind. Wenn Sie nicht zu viel bezahlen, können Sie es später für einen minimalen Verlust verkaufen, wenn Sie zu Fanatec wechseln möchten. Auf diese Weise können Sie Sim-Racing bereits auf der Konsole erleben und sehen, ob es etwas ist, was Sie wirklich gerne tun und ob es sich lohnt, TAUSENDE auszugeben (denn 1K für einen PC ist ein Anfang, aber Sie werden 3 Bildschirme, eine andere Grafikkarte, ein anderes Rig brauchen , etc). Ich verspreche Ihnen, der Unterschied zwischen Direktantrieb und diesen Basen ist nicht so übertrieben, wie die Leute glauben machen. Die andere Option ist, auf die Rückkehr des GT DD Pro zu warten und 700 € für eine Basis mit einer schlechten Felge und, ok, aber nicht hervorragenden Pedalen zu zahlen.

  • @kalebasphalt

    But in this case, the MOZA R5 would be a better option as it is DD with almost same amount of torque. Around 830 SGD (586 euros) in Singapore. The TS-XW bundle with the T3PA pedals and the Sparco P310 costs more than 1000 SGD (706 euros). Locally they don't bring in the base alone, and on Amazon the price is crazy high, almost as much as the R5 Bundle itself.
