My two favorite bits were by Jeff Daniels. When he says his parakeets head fell off it makes me crack up, and when he launches a snowball at Lauren Holly's head in retaliation then tackles her. I think his delivery is up there with Leslie Nielsen.
This movie has the most comedic gold lines 😂. “I expected the Rocky Mountains to be a little rockier than this. "I was thinking the same thing. That John Denver's full of shit, man." 😂
The way Harry headshots her with the snowball is incredibly funny. Also, the blind kid petting the dead parrotkeet must be, both the saddest and funniest scene ever made :)

I'm not sure where you all visited here in Colorado, but the fancy hotel outdoor shots in "Aspen" were filmed at the Stanley Hotel in Estes Park -the hotel that inspired Stephen King to write The Shining.

The only problem is I noticed is it was the unrated cut of the movie- it’s probably not as big a deal if you didn’t grow up with the movie but I found the extended version with some different takes not as funny as the way it was originally.
It’s the unrated cut which was actually the only version released on Blu-ray for some reason. I’m actually not a big fan of it and think the original version plays better.
It’s interesting witnessing the age divide. When they were laughing at the waitress’s name, Flo, you could see he wasn’t connecting to the joke about the show, Alice.

If you're a little more serious about film, Cable Guy is a must watch. It's a very funny dark comedy. I really think it's totally underrated. There's even a reference to an obscure 1970s Australian film (which I believe was the inspiration for the premise), the likes of Tarantino would have seen. I just subscribed by the way, and would love for you to react to some Australian content as you seem quite knowledgeable and analytical.

Never should've done a prequel and sequel, This movie is lighting in a bottle, Right place, Right time. One of Carrey's best and if you want to see his serious side please watch Eternal Sunshine Of The Spotless Mind if you haven't.
There is a symbolism in the movie. The restaurant where joe mentalino dies is called Dante's Inferno. When they arrive in Aspen the music talk about heaven.
Hopefully it's the theatrical cut. The extended cut kinda drags and the extra jokes aren't worth the slower pace. But yeah, me and my friends growing up could basically act out this whole movie, we watched it so much.
What!? How have you not seen it?! It's one of the best. This is the extended edition. The woman at the end said "hallå allihopa", that's Swedish. And she for sure sounds Swedish, but it seems she didn't tell anyone that that isn't grammatically correct. You can't say allihopa to just two people.
