Plus Jim fought for Dumb and Dumber To. He left doing the movie twice, once because of a bad script and the second time was because Warner Bros. really didn't care about doing a sequel. This is why Universal now has it.
Yeap. Perhaps a series of fortunate events (pun intended) will persuade him to revisit the other two characters that made him a hit before the genius is too old to portray them in a way we will resent even rooting for a sequel (e.g Kingdom of the Crystal Skull).

He really tones it down for this interview though. Some of the other ones are just cringy imo.
But in his line of work you kinda have to be. Maybe not quite as much as he does though, for sure. I think he just wants his interviews to come across as welcoming to get the best out of the people he's interviewing..but still..yeah, I agree. It's not like they're not going to be able to tell when somebody is kissing their ass. They are Hollywood stars and know the difference.

So are all TV show hosts, as it is a job. He engages his guests and his audience, he puts on a good show for us. He might not be 100 percent into it, but I seriously doubt he is 100 percent faking his enthusiasm. At the end of the day its his show, hes getting paid for it, so he should seem somewhat interested/interesting.
These two are comedy gold! This interview could go on forever and I would be on cloud nine. You can tell Jim and Jeff genuinely like each other.... I love that :)

Although I can definitively say that Liar Liar is one of my absolute favourite comedy movies of all time (there's a miniscule possibility that it may even be my #1 absolute favourite comedy movie of all time), I don't feel like we need a sequel. It works wonderfully, at least in my opinion, on its own as its own movie. :)

+Stoney Stark I believe he is not on drugs, not even weed. He wrote a book about how to fight depression without drugs, because he was taking them and hated it. He is nervous because this is a first for his career. He went back to a character he did 20 years ago, after years of not doing well so he knows that everybody knows that he needed some money and publicity, and also, if this movie failed (which didn't), it would probably be his last one. And, publicity for any film is very hard so I think he's extra nervous about that too.

Those two men did a great job in the two movies. Their chemistry is wonderful. I have had a catheter painfully pulled out after surgery. So, that scene is very funny to me, bringing back painful memories.

Really who cares if it isn't funny as the first one. Nice to see that they got back together to do a movie. I'm sure there are many funny parts. Most people are so judgmental. Just enjoy the damn movie when it comes out.

You know Jim Carrey is very controversial... I have always loved him for his energy and the film Liar Liar shows his skills best in my opinion. The Truman show also was pretty impressive. The sad thing is that most of his interviews he doesn't let us in to his world too much which I can understand but I wish he would calm it a bit at those moments.... I will however say that as he gets older he is calming a bit! I guess thats age! haha I will go and see Dumb and Dumber Two but I will have a few drinks first and get in a silly mood before hand and get ready to enjoy the silly man doing what he does best!! Jeff is also awesome and a very versatile actor!
