The Mega Man Game Lost to Time

I recently picked up a GameCube BANGER and maybe a bit of a hidden gem in my opinion, Mega Man X: Command Mission. I have a ton of nostalgia attached to this game so as I've been getting into retro video game collecting, this had to go into my GameCube collection. Here are my thoughts after revisiting it almost 20 years after it's 2004 release.

I strongly believe capcom will never re-release/remake any of the Mega Man rpgs, which is a shame. In my opinion the only real Mega Man games I have like have been the rpgs. Legens and X command mission are the best Mega Man game.

I've played through both versions and the Gamecube version is definitely the better version to get. Sharper and more vibrant colors, faster loading, runs at 60fps compared to the PS2 version which runs at 30fps, and it has an extra feature called Treasure Radar where you connect a GBA to the GC to find hidden tokens throughout the game. Those tokens unlock figurines that I'm pretty sure are exclusive to the GC version.
It's very possible this game has never been re-released due to contract issues with the voice actors. It wouldn't be the first time this has happened with Capcom.

i love this game. i wish modders would do something with it. also the gamecube version > the ps2 idk why it got a better score lol

I’ve only played the GC version so idk on that point - but for real it needs something!
