20 years ago I went by train from Genova to stay in Monterosso. Next day, train to Riomaggiore, walk the coast path back to Corniglia. Lunch, then train to Vernazza, down to the quayside, then back to the train for Monterosso. A truly stunning, remarkable stretch of coast, best walked from south to north (better light and views. I know, I've also walked the reverse). Thanks for bringing back the memories.
@brucewilliams8714 you are welcome. I love to bring back good memories with the videos. I was walking in those hills about 6 years ago, it was just beautiful.

Thank you so much for this nice work! Love it! Just imagine: All these small tunnels were built in the 1860's / 1870's! Just imagine how difficult and expensive to build this had been. Parts of the track had been new built 100 years later. So Bonassola and Levanto have the old track between the town and the sea, but nowadays it's just a street, the new railroad track is situated a bit above the towns. The old tunnel between these two towns is converted to a walk and bike lane - with great views onto the sea.
@KarstenMeyer I appreciate your comment. The infrastructure is amazing, and yes, it seems almost impossible to believe that all those tunnels were made more than a 100 years ago and they are still in use. Not to think how hard it was to make them. I saw that bike lane in the parts of the old line, I would love to make this journey too, with my bike. It has to be astonishing. I was walking in the hills around the villages of Chinque Terre about 6 years ago and it was just beautiful. Perfect trip.

@vincenzomedica9543 it is a very beautiful line indeed. Now you could see it from a bit different perspective. I have the line from Torino to Genova on my list already. Greetings from Slovenia.
Keep the train at low speed..if they carry freight that s different..but for passengers what's the hurry,and for commuters you have to adjust to the time when you show up at work being a passenger at high speed you won't see Italia and enjoy it's people and culture .
Stanno insegnando a farlo agli immigfati. Imperversano i BB.
Beautiful video as always 🙂 But that micro stuttering is unbearable. I bet it was shot on S21 (or similar), because that damn Exynos cannot handle it. Personal experience...

@oharashosuke7602 Perfect!
@vincenzomedica9543 it is a very beautiful line indeed. Now you could see it from a bit different perspective. I have the line from Torino to Genova on my list already. Greetings from Slovenia.
Love your videos. Show the train just a little, please. Thank you! Regards from Argentina!
@Anyula Thanks, will do!
tunnels, tunnels and more tunnels.....
@skbachoti It is true, tunnels and great views and tunnels and great views.....
Grazie
@angelosalfi6015
Thank you for your suggestion. I have it on my list already for some time.
great video, but don't cut the tunnels please...
@stokkernk Thank you. I cut them in my older videos, not any more...
can you do videos at bergamo?
@_chri I will try...
Keep the train at low speed..if they carry freight that s different..but for passengers what's the hurry,and for commuters you have to adjust to the time when you show up at work being a passenger at high speed you won't see Italia and enjoy it's people and culture .
😉😉😉👍👍👍
@gaetano zuccarello thanks.
@user-cy4nm7yl5n grazie.
🤟🤟🤟
@İBRAHİM FIRAT thanks.

Stanno insegnando a farlo agli immigfati. Imperversano i BB.
@aldocuneo1140 thank you for your comment. I understand you. Mass tourism brings that kind of problems. And it is important to point them out.
Beautiful video as always 🙂 But that micro stuttering is unbearable. I bet it was shot on S21 (or similar), because that damn Exynos cannot handle it. Personal experience...
@petrkrejci8130 thank you. S21 means Samsung phone?
@@RailRelaxation Yes. Ironically, I bought it mainly for shooting train videos 😆 But thanks to the stuttering it's unusable.
how sorry? where do you see the degradation? you should see french railways if you want to see decay!
Das land wo die Kactusfeigen bluhm ! Mein heimat .

I will put it on my to do list.
@tollikk4 I guess because of the sun...
Viste molto belle. Grazie per il video.
@tollikk4 you are welcome.
First World
@cartelesargentinos 🙂
@patrickp8883 it is written in the title that this video is part 1 of the journey. I changed the thumbnail, now I added that info on the picture too. Part two is going to be published soon. I am sorry for misunderstanding.
perché i freni del 521 fanno così tanto casino?
@lupo2007 sorry, I wouldn't know that.
Insıde ''Long Tunnels (2-3 km) '' are ''Waste''of tıme.Delete them.By the way new traıns are wonderful (old ones were very Ugly) Greetıngs from Turkıye

il contachilometri ed il tachimetro sono sballati
@GIOVANNONE66 Please note that the speed data is GPS based and can be very inaccurate. It might indicate a different speed than the actual speed.
