Cab ride La Spezia -Cinque Terre- Savona (Italy, Liguria) Part 2 to Savona train driver's view in 4K

- In this video you can enjoy the cab ride - train driver's view from la Spezia to Savona part 2 that will lead us from the town Recco to Savona in Italy, Liguria in 4K/60 frames per second.
The railway runs along the Ligurian coast passing various tunnels and viaducts and offers wonderful views.
The line from Recco to Genoa is a part of the Genoa-Pisa railway that runs along the Ligurian coast from Genoa to Pisa through the Riviera di Levante and the Versilia. It passes through the cities of La Spezia, Carrara and Massa. South of Pisa the Pisa-Rome line continues along the Tyrrhenian coast to Rome. The line is double track and is fully electrified at 3,000 V DC. Passenger traffic is managed by Trenitalia.
The part of the line from Genoa to Savona is a part of Genova-Ventimiglia railway that runs along the coast of the Liguria region of Italy. It was opened as a single track line between Genova and Savona in 1868.
The line is being doubled mainly by building an entirely new double track line parallel to the existing railway, because the line often runs through towns where there is no space for a second track. The new line also increases the maximum speed from 100 to 180 km/h.
Sit Back, Relax, and Enjoy watching this FULL- length scenic rail trip video in 4K quality.
This Relaxing Video is best watched on a 4K big-screen TV sitting on a cosy sofa or armchair.

Hello @gargamel91 merci beaucoup! Thanks. Glad that you like it.
In the next video I will change the flag😆, for another beautiful flag.
i'm watching this awesome train ride as snow starts falling outside my window near boston. it's the best of both worlds for me. once again...thank you.
@mikezard1311 Sounds great! We are waiting for the snow here in Slovenia.
Complimenti
@lorelorevoltovolto9298 grazie.
Note that train goes through Genova Piazza Principe on the lower level platforms (different to previous Genova -> Sestri Levante video), tunnels diverge after Genova Brignole station and then connect back at Via Di Francia station. Whole Genova railway junction is very interesting and amazing due to complicated and limited terrain.
@zzelen thank you!
@@luigilupi6273 thank you for that information.
Grazie !
@luigibrunomanzini253 Prego. I am glad that you like it.
Nice! Savona to Ventimiglia would be stunning to see hugging the western side of the Ligurian coast.
@dantemontaigne Oh yes! Hope to film that too.
That's a great rail line, so close to the ocean !
The old buildings on the beach, the yacht harbor, the typical Italian streetscape, all nice and beautiful !🏰⛵🏠🇮🇹
but a train wrapped in "Giro d'Italia", looks like it would be hard to see out of.
Thanks so much for the fantastic video 😻!
@xeneelik5037 you are welcome. It is a great and beautiful line. You can see out from the train despite the colours.

@rostilembe Welcome!
video molto bello!!
@claudiobernardelli8855 grazie.
@pierluiginistri8042 Thank you very much for your comment and your constructive criticism, I really appreciate it. I am doing my best, but there are always more things to learn. Have a nice day!
So beautiful ,another travel for europe
Wait...please friend
@mariusploiesti8737 thanks
👌👌👌gran bel video. Complimenti ,aspetto un Genova - Milano
@tuttoruote thank you. I have this line on my bucket list as well.
Nice landscape and nice railway line! I saw u didn't noticed the tortuous rail line coming from Fossano or Turin, close to Savona. Savona or Savona Letimbro is the Savona's second station. First was called SAVONA MONGRIFONE. Thank u for the cabride! if u like railways of Italy i advise u to make a cabride on FAENTINA, the scenographic railway line which connects FIRENZE with Faenza, through Appennines!
@wladislaw79 Thank you for your comment and for the info. I will definitely put that line on my bucket list.
Amazing recording of this piece of Ligurian railway. If you want , can you come in adriatic side for a recording another rail road. For example Ancona - Pescara. Thanks a lot
@valerio2173 That would be cool! I will put it on my bucket list. It is quite long already...there are so many amazing lines around...
A great drive over the Ligurian coast.
I've been waiting for a video like this, thank you.
Will you record the episode La Spezia - Parma? It must be interesting too.
@pt4765 I am glad that you liked it. I would like to film this one too, maybe later this year. Will definitely put it on my to do list.

@ingirowalking you are welcome.
A little curiosity: at 45’31” on your left (where are now works in progress) there was the connection with the old railway line (1969) which was even closer to the sea!
@fabiotrevisan1660 thanks.

Saluti 👋
@TheRockETR521Official grazie. I would love to greet the trains crossing and the trainspotters, but I am not the one driving....
@@RailRelaxation ah, no problems
Brand new train set ? LOL🥸🥸🥸
This other way (Westbound) is also a great experience. To see all the efforts made by men in the 19th century and early 20th to build railroads, whatever the cost, it seems, is breathtaking in comparison with high speed lines.
@21:59, is it Brignole or Briagnole ?
Brignole
@sergiomoretuzzo975 thanks, sorry for the mistake.
Beautiful video, will such a video also be released in the future on the La Spezia - Pisa line?, Sorry for my bad English
@GIORDOX Thank you. I have that lie on my To do list, hopefully this summer.
💣💥🤟🤟🤟
@İBRAHİM FIRAT 👍
Video stupendo!
@danielecavo6853 thanks for your comment. The tunnels usually present a problem because they are too long and there is too much black screen.
@paolopetronio8260 in the long tunnel most of the times is very dark and thats why the viewer can not see anything. I know about the underground junction in Genova, but it was just a black screen on the video.
To minutes:
7:25 PIEVE LIGURE and not “PEEVE LIGURE”
21:25 GENOVA BRIGNOLE and not “GENOVA BRIAGNOLE”
45:05 TUNNEL VESIMA and not “TUNNEL VECIMA”
Waiting for the Savona Ventimiglia route.
Thank you very much
@francesred thank you! I will try to film that one in the summer.

@marcosantonio1006 obrigada.
I'm confused, this part 2 looks identical to part 1...
Tunnels, towns, coast., stations, more tunnels. Yep, they do look quite similar :)
@@ZvonimirZelenika but your introduction map shows the same route for both part 1 and part 2
@mintaka57 I put the same map because it is a part 1 and 2 video. I will keep that in mind for the next video with two parts.
@manfredstuiber9809 I did not see that. but for sure it is a good questions. I really don't know in Italy, but in Slovenia where there is no lift, sometimes they provide a special platform stairlift. Maybe that is the case on that stations too.
@@RailRelaxation I only noticed it because my wife is in a wheelchair and I also measure some holiday countries by how they deal with people with restricted mobility. In Austria there is 90% barrier-free access to the platforms
you do not have the Portogruaro Venice-Trieste route ?
