Nice little vid, I remember the concrete sculptures by the shops in the Main Street and burtons the Taylor’s , left Barrhead in 1982 but still get back up to visit family, live south in the Cotswolds nowadays, cheers 👍

Very nostalgic tour of my ain wee Borrheed. MacLeans Barbers has gone as has the Coop on the 'Mainy '. Prestos is away but glad to see 'Broons' is still trading. Used to attend Arthurlie Parish Church for years and loved the Sunday School Xmas Party at the Westbourne Halls. Grew up in the 1st Barrhead BB alongside Sinky, Duckhams, the Stewart Brothers, Shawzy and Doughnut, Duncan Tait and Boogs McWeed.

Worked in McKenna Butchers as a boy, now Bickets i see, I can bet there square slice and pork links ur no as good as mine wur ..lol.
