  • Hi Guys,
Hers the link to TLA's charity skydive all in aid for help for heroes
    gofund.me/0025...
Go as part of my sunny trip to Scotland I found myself at Govan police station, and they didn't fail to disappoint.
Utter disgraceful the way some police talk to members of the public and as for maliciously following members of the public to their vehicles just to ascertain their details is beyond a joke!
Just when you think things were going ok they never fail to drop themselves right in it.
Look forward to reading your comments
    As always, stay safe

Also i'm sure the guy on the other end of the radio said i've checked and can't find a cad number rather than our systems are down most likely due to the fact no one phoned it in and they just followed you instead.

They arrested him for filming on Police grounds in Aberdeen, charged him with numerous made-up offences, stole £15K worth of equipment and kept it all for 2.5 years making him unable to work, gave draconian Plod Bail conditions, threatened him with arrest when he tried to get his gear back from the court, dragged the case out for 2.5 years while failing to turn up for the trial on at least three occasions, but again threatened him if he didn't turn up each time and the the day before the final date for trial the PF with a nudge and wink from Plod, dropped all charges. In addition it reinforces their beliefs, as if they are trying to convince themselves of your guilt. Never tell them its not a live stream ! It gives them the impression that they can sieze your equipment and hold it for months on end. Wouldnt be the first time they delete your footage either.
And remember that section 164 and 165 RTA only apply to " the DRIVER of a MOVING vehicle". A parked car does NOT apply !

Not true. Courts have deemed private car parks to be part of the road and therefore applicable to 164 and 165 and even if the car is stopped and parked you are still 'driving'. You don't even have to be in it when the demand to ID is made as long as Plod can say that they saw you leave the drivers side. RTA is applicable all over the UK, so if you don't believe me, try saying "no" to the next cop that demands your ID when you are parked ... I'll wait for your response.

      @fourfoxsake8044 Год назад

@@colinpryor4290 no I don't believe you because you're talking shite. Driving is defined under section 192 of the RTA and requires quite logically MOVEMENT and STEERING. A public car park is classed as a public road but you wou!d still have to be DRIVING on it !!!.

@@fourfoxsake8044 Oh well, in that case I guess you are absolutely correct and the hundreds of thousands of people that have been convicted of drunk driving by being found in a stationary vehicle must be victims of corrupt Plod and courts. I also suppose your interpretation of the law could mean that in order to avoid any Police contact, all a driver has to do is pull over and remain parked! Why didn't I think of it before!! It's so simple ... like you.
I should have guessed by your childish name and your potty mouth that you were prepared to argue your idiocy to the bitter end. Do yourself a favour and get to bed Junior, the grown-ups are talking.

Try not to travel in your own vehicle, when auditing. Rent a vehicle, borrow one, maybe, use a bicycle, if you can. These tyrants are known to follow auditors to their vehicles, to get personal information, like licence plates, so they can run it and unlawfully stop and pull you over. They are looking for ways to arrest auditors, or make their lives miserable. Keep your head on a swivel when auditing and dealing with tyrants, they will stalk you. Those two need a complaint filed against them.

It's not about being scared, that's the wrong word to use. A few do it, however, the risk is getting equipment seized for no reason, which in turn prevents them filming. Then they get locked up for some hours miles from home etc. Then all the hassle of claiming against them, and getting equipment back. It's something they have to weigh up if they film in Scotland. Same as over here in Northern Ireland.

Sec 33 applies in Scotland too. The guy in the car was making it up as he went along. In Scotland, physical restrictions are the best indicator as per sec 33. Beyond that, you would have to deprive them of a specific use of their land to forcefully evict you.
You plan on doing any follow ups? There's still loads. east Kilbride was where Mat12128 got arrested and phone seized. Fettes was one of koleeberks longest audits too. Where firearms officers threatened unlawful arrest for details.
They can only demand details if they pull you over. If you're parked with engine off you're still in charge of a vehicle but not driving. So the only route they would have is breath test for drunk in charge of a vehicle. Still no need for details if it's negative.
