hello, i’m watching this from america, and i hope you’re still answering questions related to this! i want to start an upcycle project of allowing eyelets to be in neat, even lines on a t-shirt. would i be able to use the leather puncher on the shirt, or would i have to do the holes myself with scissors?

@@strawber_ri thank you so much for your comment. 🙏🏼🌞✨
Don’t think hole punching pliers will work on Tshirt fabric. But you can try on a sample fabric maybe.
With small scissors or seam ripper it will work. 😊👍🏼

Does the eyelet punching pliers have specific measurements or they're all the same?
Because I wanna buy a kit

    • @AnitaBenko

      Yes.
My pliers have: 2.5mm 3mm 3.5mm 4mm 4.5mm 5mm Punching holes. These pliers are super useful for these size eyelets. Also for punching extra holes in belts. 😊👍🏼

hmmmm... when you put the eyelets in, the bottom part goes on the one without the noob and the one with the noob is meant to punch holes (step 1, if you don't have a separate hole puncher). Didn't yours come with rubber rings to put over both parts to protect the eyelets from being damaged when pressing or was there an additional piece to swap the noob-one out for pressing them on?

    • @AnitaBenko

I bought my set from Lidl- not sure if they have them still. You can find these sets in any sewing/craft shops. Or online.
I found same set on eBay for you:
      www.ebay.co.uk/itm/233944785161?mkcid=16&mkevt=1&mkrid=711-127632-2357-0&ssspo=X_IuMAaJS4q&sssrc=2349624&ssuid=14QcTYAKTjm&var=&widget_ver=artemis&media=COPY

Yes it will work on latex. 😊👍🏼
If you work with latex- I recommend to try eyelets on a small latex sample first. x
