Hello Cath, thank you for showing this section as a separate video. My Vario Pliers are in the post and I cannot wait to try them along with your video. Have a lovely weekend.
Thanks for the video, I don't have the same domed attachment, 😢, I also just watched the video on the Prym website and show how you can create a small hole with the attachments too. Also what the red thing is for. It's to remove the attachments, 😂I never knew! Great video!
Thanks for the tutorial. How do you remove the metal pushers (! not sure what the terminology is) out of the pliers. Just to be clear I don't me the eyelets and washers. Once the metal things (!) are in I can't get them out.
I generally just pull very hard to get them out but one of the sets I got did come with a little plastic tool you can use to push them out from the underside, so that might be an option too
Hi sorry I missed this comment. I have found my eyelets to attach fine and securely to thinner fabrics like cotton jersey, I do always interface the fabric before applying the eyelets so that might well help to stabilise and stop the eyelets feeling loose 😊
Very clear and concise tutorial. Thank you so much for taking the time and effort. I am definitely going to try this!
A lovely, clear, helpful video - thank you!
I’m so glad you found it helpful! 😊

Hi!
My eyelets are always too lose, is that because my fabric is too thin or because I’m not using any interface?
Thanks for your help!

I think where I have gone wrong is making my hole too big. My eyelets have always come out. Will have to give it another try
Yes I think the holes need to be as small as they can be, only just big enough to squeeze the eyelet through. Hope you have better luck now
Hi Cath, can you tell me what size eyelets you are using as I’ve just ordered some that are huge 😮
Hi there, I order the Prym 5mm eyelets
