  • After a health scare nearly 3 years ago, I decided to make some important changes in my life. I had an unhealthy relationship with alcohol for 25ish years which lead me to feeling like a fraud of who I wanted to be. In this video I talk about my decision, why and how I changed my life from being overweight and lazy living a repeating cycle of shame related to alcohol, to 2.5 year later being somebody who runs 40 miles per week setting very high standard for myself in every area of my life.
Should you have any questions about anything I say in this video, please do get in touch - If I can even help 1 person find the peace and happiness that I have through a more controlled relationship with alcohol then making this video will have been worth it.

Good on you for quitting the drink and making so many positive changes. It's so sad how we tend to drift into regular drinking from our late teens and end up thinking that it's the only way to socialise.

Thanks Mark, appreciate it. Society and western culture makes it very difficult for people to make a decision like I have, but slowly there is more awareness creeping in which in the long term will help much the same as it did with smoking. Let’s hope anyway!

Thank you Vicki - well done for making the change. The first 3 days are the hardest so you’ve achieved something great already. Keep going and remember that every day you add the better it gets. I will make another video in about 2 weeks as I will be at day 1000, hopefully a better video than this one 🤞🏼. Keep going, you’ve got this 🫶🏻
