- These Crab Stuffed Mushrooms are so delicious! they are cheesy and full of crab meat! If you are not a mushroom fan...feel free to use the filling as hot dip with bread, or make a crab melt or crab quesadilla!
Ingredients:
12 large mushrooms ( I found I needed about 6 more to use all the filling so if you want to use all the filling for mushrooms, use 18 mushrooms)
2 cups crab meat
3/4 cup fresh breadcrumbs
1 8oz package of softened cream cheese
1/2 c shredded parmesan cheese
1/2 c shredded mozzarella cheese
1/2 c chopped green onions
2 large cloves minced garlic
1/2 Tbsp worcestishire sauce
1/2 tsp old bay seasoning
dash of tobasco
3 Tbsp fresh chopped parsley

Grandma and Papa owned a wholesale seafood business.
She showed me to always use a metal mixing bowl with shellfish and crustaceans, I remember her saying that it was easier to hear the shell fragments that may be in the meats.
I could nearly eat my weight in crab!

We always have stuffed mushrooms on Christmas as an appetizer for dinner, it’s been a tradition for many years and we use garlic and Vermont sharp white cheddar, so addicting! These look absolutely divine, will have to try it that way too

I live in the Texas Panhandle, and we rarely get fresh crab. I usually use the imitation crab for dips, but I know it won’t work for this recipe, so I’ll use the can. I’m excited to make this because it’s on my diet if I use the reduced fat cream cheese. Thanks for showing how easy it is!

I love mushrooms and I love crab so these look sensational. Crab (fresh) is crazy expensive here, so I will often use the canned crab too. I also love shrimp, lobster, most shellfish, most fish but not a real fan of shark. Such a lovely recipe, Karen, you've got me craving seafood now. 👍❤
