What a legend this man is, I've watched countless tutorials on RUclips but his are by far the best. Thank you so much 🙌

i have learned to play polyrhytms in drums, learned to play bass and learned to play piano, mostly by myself, and yet, surfing just keeps challenging me at every level, every new turn and trick, every new swell shows a new level of difficulty...amazing to be able to have the patience to surf and be humble enough to let the ocean show us how small we really are!

Maybe I wont be able to go to your school soon, but I'd love to be there, your podcasts can change the way of a lot of people in their surfing perspective, you did it for me, Thank you I appreciated it, I never asked no one how to do anything, I learned by my self and now I think I'm learning again with videos, specially with your videos and the one from Surfing with Amigas duck dive.

Thanks for this. Big penny dropping moment. I'd always thought of the two terms as interchangeable, it's really clear what the difference is now. Great videos, much appreciated!

100s if not 1000s of videos on YT about surfing, and this one not only demonstrates the issues and fixes, but as soon as there's a question, it's followed with an answer. I'm a Canadian transplant living down in Dominical, Harry. I believe I'll be getting in touch with you soon. Brilliant vid - looking forward to checking some others out now too. So far best online resource I've come across.

This is great! I was stuck on this in my progression. I've been trimming this whole time and just trying to lean into every turn.

Damn I was exactly stuck on that trimming, I can surf, gain speed etc, but I cant stably do those big snaps, it's totally my carving that needs work. I never though about the leaning back or to the front to make the carves easier, I grew accostumed to the trimming since I could get over with it :) Guess I need to start training those big carves :)

That's actually how I feel like skating Longboard, where I only trim. Meaning, that I need to learn a completely new and different way of changing direction.

You talk about 3 extra paddles when you think you have got the wave. Is that 3 per side or just 3 in total? Same question regarding the 5 paddles before the wave reaches you. Cheers, Martin.

Can you not start your podcasts with the most annoying sound bite you can find. What is the point?
