  • This week we're looking at the first key maneuver for level 3 surfers. We address the great divide between those surfers who go up and over broken sections of a wave and those that run around the bottom. Get this right and you'll be surfing faster and making it to the end of a lot more waves. Hope you enjoy it, thanks for watching...

    I've watched too many surf tutorials on RUclips and yours are definitely the best (especially when they are complemented with footage of people surfing). Thumbs up!

    Your podcasts are fantastic, some of the best surf tutorials i've seen. Big respect for sharing your knowledge! If you guys produce a video product or series, i'll buy it.

    Hmmm...don't see a lot of surfers doing this. I guess only the more accomplished surfers even think of doing this. Something to think about when I get to that point...lol! Cheers, John ;)

    Surf Simply is the best. Please produce a DVD and I'll buy it. I've been going around the bottom, successfully forever... Now I'm charging the top.

    is it possible to do floaters with any board size?

    • @connorpowell2585
      @connorpowell2585 9 лет назад

      I heard floaters were invented in the 60's when everyone was riding longboards.

  • @SaltBushCity

    What about your students that ride mals, do you get them to do floaters or only those surfing shortboards? Cheers.

    • @SurfSimply
      @SurfSimply  3 года назад

      Hi Mick, yes we teach the whole range of manoeuvres on larger boards too as with the correct technique the size of board is rarely a limiting factor.
