@LESHAUNWILL Absolutely; However, just think about what you are saving for healthcare over there! Here in the states the healthcare is definitely robbery! To me the robbery is worse with insurance in the states! You pay the premium, copay and some have deductibles and you will still get bills for one of the service providers! So there's that. We just have to pick our battles! But you are still winning from what I see! Oh and not chancing it being gunned down by police is a blessing! Keep it going, God's got this!❤❤❤

lol thank you yeah I don’t wanna get a car because they drive crazy out here. Like no critical thinking skills what so ever. But I thought about the trikes. They drive tuk tuks here lol or carts attached to motorcycles so I don’t think golf carts are off the list 😂😂😂

😂 Gurl don’t get me started. Firstly I don’t have my truck here so getting around is a task in itself and if I knew where to go exactly then it would be simpler. The places that I did go to either didn’t have what I needed or the quality was trash. I did have my sofa custom made locally but I’ll keep it a buck with you 👀 it’s not the best quality cushions in the world lol. So I’m finding that I end back up on Amazon or at Walmart where I have a little more variety. I know there’s another RUclipsr who thinks if we think Mexico is expensive then it’s not for us but not everybody wants to live like they live. I’m not saying I need luxury brands because I don’t live like that but I know I have my creature comforts and oh then there’s this channel which I have to create content for so that’s another expense for materials. But most people don’t see it that way. I rarely do them type of videos sitting at a desk or aimlessly walking or driving down the street and they cost nothing but time to make. Ya know 😳 so I put more money into this channel than I get out of it and well yeah. But thanks Doll I know you are only trying to be helpful. And I’m just venting to be honest.

NO VASELINE is the right phrase! I did some price comparisons while back in the US and on one hand you get rammed and another you come out a bit on top. It still is frustrating either way. I have something for you that I brought back , maybe we can meet up toward the end of the week. I know/see you're a busy bee over there 🐝

Yeah my other girl is in the states and she said the SAAAAAME thing. today that we are paying 2 and 3 times more for things and only the housing is a benefit but we getting it with NO VASELINE FA' SURE!!! and we gonna have to try to hook up after my friends leave. The USD isn't collapsing. Currency valuations shift. People based their budgets on peak conversion rates and when currency dips they are shocked. Also the difference varies from country to country. Mexico has seen a larger swing than some other countries. Both economies factor into the conversion rates.

@LESHAUNWILL No. The video specifically referenced Mexico City and surrounding areas. The low rain and old pipe systems are the culprit. I wondered if other regions were having issue too.
Everything you buy could be had for a fraction in Centro. Living and buying in Centro has always been and always will be the least expensive way to live in Merida, without a car especially. Any suggestion otherwise is laughable. That being said the most expensive place to be in Merida is also Centro, likely next door to the least expensive. Also easily ninety percent of foreigners live in Centro, where there is real community...
I don’t like centro it’s too busy I’m not a city girl. I live out out getting to centro to shop would cost me just as much in an Uber lol so it’s a wash. And I have a great community where I am and family minutes away. But I hear ya it’s just not my desire to be around traffic and noise and a bunch of people. I guess you didn’t see my T shirt it says “ewww people” 😂
When the peso gets strong it’s time to live like the Mexicans lol but yeah it’s getting tight out here

It's all from coca cola using all the water and leaving the tax payers with none. The presidents response to the question showed he is in the take and needs to be voted out.
