Awwww thank you I don’t really like the barstools they look great but weren’t my first choice. The first ones I got for some reason didn’t raise up to counter height so I had to return them and they only did store credit so I got those. They cute AF but not comfortable so I may cut the legs down an inch 👀😳😜lol

I love the versatility of the sectional. I think option 4 is my favorite but I also like how you have it now. 3 chairs would look really nice, possibly even paired down to 2? I know this is off topic but your makeup is always on point! Can you do a YT short for your makeup. I'm 50 and don't want my makeup looking like my daughter's makeup (my 30 year old). I want my makeup to look like I'm not trying to look like her sister, LOL and your makeup be FLAWLESS! The foundation always trips me up when I try it. So if you have time to do a mature makeup routine as a short or long, that would be amazing! BTW, your fantasy makeup be killing too!

Slow and steady for the win. Take your time to secure pieces..Three chairs at the glass dinning table, odd numbers always work. ..The glass top is perfect it will direct the eyes outside..I have a mid century modern glass top with 2 chairs, I couldn't accommodate the 3rd chair..I like to have them pulled out at an angle not flush into the table...See you on the next one...💯🖐👍

Great Video. LOVE the sectional idea...note to self...probably not in black. Thanks for the pro-tip with the downloadable prints I forgot they have print shops there. I did the same thing in the USA, but used IKEA for my matting AND frames. Its a thought. I just made sure they fit. I love mine, I have 6 downloaded prints with ikea frames. I think 3 chairs are best. Take your time Chica. Its a process. Your home looks GREAT.

Wallpaper: the hot season to determine if the house's airflow will support it. Otherwise, mold will build under it, and you'll have to spend way more removing the wallpaper and the mold.

Noted! OK so there was an issue with me being able to select different music so I had to use what I already had down loaded. We had a really bad power outage while I was editing and it lasted four hours and I really needed to get the video rendered and uploaded, which sometimes takes up to four hours so there were songs I could not download simply because I had no service. Sorry bout that Doll ☺️

With RUclips you have to push out a consistent flow of videos. On a schedule. The more you push out and the more you stick to the schedule
the more RUclips will recommend your channel.
Also maybe push the RUclips shorts more to draw people in. You can monetize faster with the shorts. RUclips recommend shorts more bcuz it’s still fairly new.

I am very excited for you and this journey, but I get it. When I relocated across the country, I left a good paying job and was unemployed for a few months after the move and ended up taking a pay cut once I got a new job, only because I needed a job because my savings was dwindling. Moving is a journey that takes a while before you're fully settled into the new place. I live in the Gulf Coast, and a lot of homeowners where I live have wallpaper. My realtor friend has wallpaper she put up herself in her house, and it's held up nicely for several years. I think you'll be fine. So far, I'm loving the new furniture you've been able to aquire. I see the vision, Ms. Leshaun!!💜

I thought about adding a few African touches, but it would probably be more in the form of textures and colors as opposed to actual prints or people forms ta know. And truth be told a lot of the same textures that are used in Africa are also used in the Mexican culture. Remember, a lot of Africans escaped to Mexico to get away from the colonist (I’m being nice) lol

Yes, I agree. It was definitely a great move. Merida is growing so much and a lot of people are looking at it now as a tourist destination as opposed to the usual suspects, L O L. I took my Amazon link down. I think a lot of people were having issues with it being in Spanish for some thing I don’t know because IM able to see it in English but I think people don’t know how to turn on the translation so you can just use my cash app and send me a message so I know that it’s from you or my Ko-Fi account because those are what people have been doing most. My mom had wallpaper (washaable texture) in her KITCHEN in the Caribbean for years...and I mean, years. There was no issue with the wallpaper, it didn't peel off.

I do RUclips videos as well which at some point I am ready to throw in the towel, because as you know, and you mention it is a lot of work especially the editing portion. I’m not a quitter I am retired and I do a lot of home decor, and DIY projects I have right now 529 subscribers on my pdubstuff channel and I think 215 on my curlypdub hair channel. I don’t know what’s going on and this is discouraging to me because some people watching they’re just not commenting or maybe they are and RUclips is blocking. Any negative comments, so I’m starting to doubt myself. I know consistency is key. 🤨😊 💛
Thank you and if you don’t mind I wanted to peak at your channel and see what’s going on. 👀 I’m going to give you some pointers
1. You have no title or descriptions so the algorithm has no idea what your channel or videos are about and who to show them to so that’s hurting your new sub count.
2. You have to make better thumbnails if people are seeing your videos the thumbnail should be the first thing to stop the eye and make someone want to click on it. Please go to @canva and start using it for free then once you feel it’s worth the investment please go pro. There’s so much to learn on CANVA and it’s worth every penny
3. Your audio could be better. I struggled with this too and sometimes it’s going to be hard if you just want to record but don’t have your full set up with you. But invest in a $30 mic from Amazon that you can plug into your phone. Worth it trust me
4. You really have to work on the delivery of your videos. People have short attention spans so you have to have a “hook” and deliver on that right in the beginning. Don’t waste too much time on having a long intro. People don’t care about that.
4. music… if your going to use some make sure it’s not boring
5. Show yourself more. People want to see people and get to know you. I’m not a niche person but I do stick to a thread that my co-stars love and that’s being real and being transparent.
6. Try to make your videos at least 10 minutes. RUclips doesn’t favor short videos that’s they can’t place ads on. So having something around 10 or more is better than a bunch or 2 or 4 minute videos. Might be better to combine those and make one longer video.
7. Use the tags option in the upload screen, and a call to action at the end of your videos so people are tempted watch another and that helps. Also I do t ask people to subscribe right in the beginning because if they are new they don’t even know you. Give them time. (I also made this mistake at first)
8. You have been doing this for years I can’t tell you not to give up but I will say try these tips and see if they help. 🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽 good luck and keep me posted on what happens.

Canva I’ve been using that for quite some times but I guess I could put a little better work into my thumbnails. I will show myself more. I just hate to be on camera but I have to get over that. Absolutely!! I had to learn a lot but one thing I will tell you is if you aren’t using canva for thumbnails then start! There are a lot of videos on here that help you get started and they have added so many features now. I also get B-roll clips from canva too. Good luck hon I’m the anti niche but it does help to have some sort of base following in the beginning. So find what you love and start making videos about that!

Hey I have some family friends who I've known since I was 5 move to Mexico. They've been there a year. Both of them got jobs with companies in the US that will allow them to work remotely from anywhere in the world. Maybe you should look into these types of companies. I'm sad you let your tinyhouse go but you did say why. This is a new beginning and new adventures.

Is it expensive staying in Mexico? I noted you mentioned "thrift stores" not found there, but you have to go online. I can respect hiw you feek about not being able to walk into a store to actually seeing certain items! But, at least you'll get items similar to things from the thrift store at a cheap price as well.
Anyhow, I hope all works well for you being on your hustle game. If things doesn't work the way you expect, you may have to seek employment until you save enough to get where your going. I, myself was just laid off from a job and im trying to out weight my options on if I should stay or go from one state to another?

Hello doll yeah, that video is a little older, so if you check the more recent videos, you’ll see how things are going as far as the money is concerned. Everybody thinks that Mexico is so cheap. It really isn’t especially with a strong peso and a week dollar. And moving is very expensive especially leaving the country and going somewhere internationally, so these are all things you want to take into consideration I did a video about a month ago about the money so you might want to check that one out as well. Sorry to hear you lost your job, but as you said you are covered, so just keep on praying and the right thing will come for you 🙏🏽

🌴☀️ Wazzup big sis🙋🏽♀️. Ok so let me speak on this Amazon thing. I’ve tried to create a MX account and first off I can’t read Spanish nor speak it. The WHOLE site is in Spanish. Second the verification process (where your setting up the account they will want to send a text message to verify your phone number) well it never sends the goddam txt messg. THEN…there’s a puzzle ( captcha ) you have to figure out but I finally got that down. I wanted to buy the faucet & 1 maybe 2 of those beautiful remote lights you have ( I think there’s 3 of them ) and also that big azz area rug.
But I’m having trouble creating the bleeping account 🤬 I NEED that text message to come to me to move forward!!! I’ll try it again cuz I’m not a fking idiot I know how to use Amazon but the MX site is a pain in the AZZ🙄

Aww man thanks for telling me but that’s odd considering I see the site in English? There’s a way to make google and Amazon translate your pages. Maybe that’s why mines show up in English. Don’t sweat it girl seriously. Most people have been sending Cash App and Ko-fi like you did before. Just tell me what you want me to purchase with it and I will order it. I have two accounts one for Mexico and one for America to keep my life simple because it’s annoying to be honest. If I want to send stuff to my grandson I just use the American account.

I see other YTers reposting videos all the time. Re-edit it and take out the questionable music, change the title and re-upload, if you can. Make that money.
Hi KC, so the thing about that particular video is I did re-upload it I edited it and the first time it was demonetized was for a different song. It’s so crazy because I change that and then re-uploaded it and this song was now an issue, and I pay for my music it’s just annoying when it gets stopped so I’m just waiting for an answer from RUclips and motion array.

I don’t use music at all… when I get a copyright I delete it edit then upload it again… It’s like the Law say don’t run a red light and you say I have to run the red light because I spent a lot on the car💁🏾♀️… just follow the rules… Learn from your mistakes… YOU DON’T NEED MUSIC TO BE SUCCESSFUL
OK so just so you understand I am a paying member of motion array so it’s not that I’m using Contant that I’m not supposed to. I pay for copyright free licenses but for some reason I usually have issues with their songs but I still use the company because I also get some of my B roll and images from them but as far as music I have started using specifically Epidemic Sound and I’m different from you. We all make our Contant in different ways. My music is not, some thing I put in my videos to be successful is something I put in my videos because I enjoy it. My background is music. I am an artist. I’m not sure if you know that, but I spent many of years in the music industry, so I am about music it means a lot to me, and when I add a score to my videos, it brings them to another level. That’s just me, but I am definitely not breaking the law. I am definitely following the rules. Just FYI
