- In this video, I'm addressing some of the feedback and comments from my previous video about the Extreme weather, Blackouts and climate change issues. I believe in transparency and honesty, and while the positive feedback is great some viewers / haters couldn't resist feeling they know everything about me or the countries I mentioned like the United States and Mexico.
this was necessary and important for me to reflect on and speak up about.
So let's address the constructive parts, the not-so-constructive parts, and what can be learned from this experience of going after a Gen X woman from Brooklyn!
Remember, this channel is about creativity, growth, DIY, saving money and living a meaningful life no matter where you are or even if you stumble.
So I encourage you to leave your constructive feedback but skip the rude, arrogant, over confident, pompous, know-it-all comments.

People did that because most are drawn to what they perceive as negativity.
The perceived negativity then “allows” them, in their mind at least, to say dumb or mean shxt.
Also a lot of people feel like your video telling your truth about Merida might slow their scam of luring people here so they can make money off of them.
Merida is one HELLUVA adjustment, plain and fg simple.
THAT PART!!! I need to pin this comment to the top because it’s so true. All that and that’s why I keeps it a buck. I’m not about to be on here being irresponsible and selling lies to make a dollar. I have integrity and morals and I owe that to my audience whether they subscribe or not. If they view then it’s giving them good for thought PERIOD’T
😳 being untruthful for personal gain is not right....some people are selling everything including their 🏠 to move to 🇲🇽 because they are sold a dream that doesn't exist Can You IMAGINE!?

I watch the other video and I saw nothing wrong with it, the heat has been crazy all over Mexico lately, my dad lives in Jalisco and he be complaining about it, as a MEXICAN. I swear people will find something to complain about no matter what you do. As a MexAm I appreciated you keepn' 100%!

Hey Gen X here,, I just love you and admire you for making this move, and people that don't understand can kick grass. I also have that wondering spirit, and love tiny homes (one day I will have one) at age 54 I did van life for a year and my family & friends (POC) lost their minds, but I did not care. It was the best year of my life, do you and be free. I get it and you are amazing.

I live in Florida, Central American heat hits different, your hair is giving all it needs to give, they are jealous.
Mexico is beautiful but the language barrier is the reason I chose Belize.

Thank you so much, I had to do this because it was a long time coming but I am done now (for now) but I do know the more my channel grows the more I will have to just look the other way. My thing is I read and respond to all my comments so sometimes I think they feel like they are talking to my audience and trying to embarrass me, not realizing I am reading the comments. It's something I have always done and part of the reason I have such a loyal Kommunity of Ko-Stars. Folks need to understand, climate change is real and should be factored into any plan to move abroad, shift locations, etc. It’s scary to think that as much planning as you put in, the realities of climate crisis/ change has such an impact. The problem is lack of infrastructure that is not made communicated when researching. lack of power black-out are to a whole different level than in the US

We had these issues in TX and it has only gotten worse with storms each year.
People idealize places and people go flocking to it.
Also, as someone who moved to Mexico. You will never fully know about a place until you live there.
It’s like the sargazo in QR. Some years it’s bad and some years it’s better.

Girl climate change is real! It was hotter than hell here, but its suppose to be cooler here - we're in the mountains. All of Mexico was hotter than usual! I wanted to cry every day because of the heat.🥵

Yeah, I figured that because most of my videos that have some sort of controversy in the title or thumbnail people seem to be drawn to it, but I can make a video turn in a box into a nightstand and it gets half the views of some drama. lol and yes, them trolls been in my comments and sometimes I will post them in my community tab but this time I decided I was going to just go ahead and make this video because I was hot! I appreciate your candor in your relating your experience. What we're currently going through is an unusual event with our sun and unfortunately, there will be another wave coming. Our planet has cycled through many shifts since its inception and mankind's hand in it is not nearly as significant as our planet being hit by cataclysmic events like strikes from meteors, volcanoes erupting, polar shifts and the affects of solar flares and solar winds. That being said, it is still our responsibility to be good stewards to the environment, resources and to those we share our space with. Call me a dreamer, but I believe most people are good, it's the few baddies that get the medias' attention, though.
I'm stuck in that odd niche of generations; too young to technically be a Boomer, too old to technically be an X-er. I'm in what is known as Generation Jones. We were young and impressionable whilst going through some of the most profound and tumultuous times of societal shifts.

Dear lady, when it comes to commitment, I'm very much on the same page. I never got a tattoo because I can't commit to wearing the same image the rest of my life. I've never had an addiction because it requires a commitment and besides, my attention span isn't long enough to sustain an addiction. I've only had one long term relationship I was ever truly happy in, unfortunately he died unexpectedly. I've tried dating since, but there are so many broken souls who can't leave the ugliness of their past maltreatment behind, and treat you like crap for the transgressions of their past partner. In all honestly, I'm enjoying my solo life with my adorable little companion dog (my profile pic is him).

They also all have meaning to me so I guess that's why. I can't wait to get another fur baby, I will commit to loving them but these dudes OMG I totally get what you mean, the past trauma others bring to a relationship is a bit much.
