Quick question saw ur video ,,my question is for these grsx motorcycles. The pump gets fuel from top or bottom of pump??
bottom brother
Thx bro 🤘
I have the same issue with my 07 750 I followed step by step your instructions on replacing the fuel pump already finished and nothing. All the fuses are good kill switch seems to be working probably I don't know what else to do. Any idea?
how do u know if the kill switch is working brother?
Nicely done, I’m going to tear into my 2000 750 today…I’m assuming it’s the same or similar. The only difference I see so far is I have 4 wires versus 3
pretty much you just got to find out which wire is power n which wire is ground brother.
@@SUPSGARAGE yeah, did that last night and it never primed. I just bought the bike and it had been sitting for a few years. I’m just piecing it back together. Thanks for the reply and doing the tutorial. I do a lot of them and h don’t think I could do as good of a job as you did here. Thanks again.
@Pilgrim’s Garage Np brother and thanks for the support 😊👍! (I subscribed to your channel)
@@SUPSGARAGE I subscribed to yours also… I did it 10 seconds after watching your video. Thanks brah!
Recently bought a new tank reservoir for my 07 Gxsr 750 for some reason it blew my fuel fuse as soon as I turned on the bike ….idk what to do ?any ideas ??
Also the bike has been sitting for months
more then likely u have a short some where are u using the same fuel pump or did that new tank come with one?
What do the 2 fuel lines on the bottom side of the tank connect to?? Mine are not connected to anything.
@bfrick2338 they should just be drain hoses brother so they just go to the bottom of the bike
What did you use to clean it? Going through this issue now
Carb cleaner or brake cleaner. I never had an issue using either of those brother.
Where did you buy the fuel pump? I’m having a hard time locating. Just a pump
What year and size is yours brother?
Question? I have two fuel injector codes showing after gettin them cleaned but think its the fuel pump after seeing how dirty it was. Can a faulty fuel pump cuz the injector codes to show cuz bike barely starts and barely runs now after i reinstalled injectors and attempted to clean pump/filter. Old pump still makes a sound before startin engine.
What are the codes you got brother?
@@SUPSGARAGE i forget number but its 2 codes for first and 4th fuel injector
If those codes were not pulling up before you took it apart, I'm betting that you have wiring issue now I would see if the injectors are getting power if the wiring is showing power then the problem is not with the harness side (and if it is then you most likely have open circuit which you then need to trace where its at)
if does show power then you need to test the 2 injectors to see if they spray which I'm sure RUclips has a video on to show you to do that I don't have a video on that yet hope this helps..
Do I have to empty the gas out of the tank? Or can I not just leave it in there? And leave the tank upside down
u would need to empty it first brother because it will leak out from the top as soon as you have it upside down
谢谢您的分享
how would you replace the fuel pressure regulator? Its glued onto. My bike has been getting a whining noise.
Has it always done that since you had the bike brother? I've seen some aftermarket fuel pumps do that. As far as the regular goes, I have not replaced one yet on this model and not to sure if you can.
@@SUPSGARAGEit started 4 months after I bought it. I did replaced the fuel pump and filter with an aftermarket part (fuel pump factory).
The noise was just quieter but after awhile it’s starting to come back.
It’s hard to fine the 2007 GSX600 Fuel Pump assy. There is one Fuel Pump assy but it’s for the 2005 one, can i use it for the 2007? because the part number is actually the same, the difference are only from the floater, there is no floater for the 2005 series.
I don't believe the part numbers are the same. What part numbers do you see for both?
Is it normal to get a fi light one time it went away now
Was it while riding the bike?
Great video very knowledgeable and helpful, question Where did you get the fuel pump from, all the places that I have looked Sells the whole system not just the pump, Is orita cheap Chinese knock off.. Thank you
This the exact one I used hope this helps!

I have the same issue with my 08 750. Fuel pump does turn on sometimes. Haven’t been able to figure out what makes the fuel pump not turn on since it turns on sometimes. All the fuses are good kill switch was just replaced and seems to be working probably I don't know what else to do. Any idea?
Have you made sure it's not your kickstand switch or your clutch lever switch? if not I would check those next. You can easily bypass them by just disconnecting them from the switch and using a wire to connect the 2 wires. Do one switch at a time for you can see if either of those are the issue (Most of the time it's the clutch switch that's the problem) Hope this helps!
Just finished bypassing the kickstand and the clutch lever switch is good or it wouldn’t crank. Still having the same problem the fuel pump will only turn on sometimes
@baudelio tizoc if you turn the key on and off a couple times (at least 10 times) does it make a difference?
I do have to turn the ignition on and off a couple times and it’ll sometimes turn on after that
@baudelio tizoc ok before assuming it's the resistor in the ignition it's self going bad can you check it the fuel pump relay is working correctly??? when the issue comes up again, see if there is power coming out of the relay (out of the 4 wires that go to the relay see if the one that goes to the fuel pump has power).
Help i got a cbr fireblafe 929 RR battery is new but neither head lights or horn work...also when ignition start on no clickin sound from fuel pump ..when pressin the starter button the bike tryin to go live but wit no success....i then tried to push it dwn my road tryin to start in gear 1 n 2 release clutch nuthin either...fuses good though prior dyin it would smell like sumrhin burnt or overheated...any idea before i take it to a mechanic if i can save money please help guys
what year is it brother?
Hey bro are you in the Dallas area?
Yes I am brother
How much was that tool you used and where I can get one
on what time on the video brother?
@@SUPSGARAGE to take the tank off
Always Thorough
Okay second thing: if your tank was full how did you pull off the fuel lines without have it absolutely leak everywhere?
It usually does not leak once there's no pressure but if it still leaks I just remove some of the gas from the tank and leave it tilted up.
@@SUPSGARAGE Probably should have read this comment before I did all that extra work T_T
Thank you kindly.
On my 2019 GSXR 750 riding home from work my cluster gauge started blinking and than it went blank. The bike sounded as if it was about to shut off but it didn’t. I made it home safe and a few hours later I tried to start it up and nothing. I just got it out the shop from having a M4 exhaust system, Power Commander and ECU Flash (Programed). I only drive it 7 times and this crap happens. So I just install (On my own) 4 Spark Plugs
Starter Relay
Fuel Relay
New battery
Rectifier
Stator
Fuel Pump & filter
And it’s still not turning on. It’ll crank where you can here everything trying to turn on but nothing.
So as of right now it just cranks but won't start? and the dash still does not turn on?
Have you tried the tip over and/or kickstand sensor
Hey help me out. My bike started cutting out on me on the way to work and after work the bike turned on and I rode it not even a mile and it died on me. Can’t hear fuel pump now when I flip ignition and I can’t the starter doesn’t sound either.
can you message me on instagram brother? sups_garage
@@SUPSGARAGEI sent you a message 👍
Will a bad fuel pump blow the fuel fuse?
To be honest I've never seen that happen there would have to be a short somewhere else brother
Hey where did you get it no one sells it Separately
You mean the fuel pump only?
@@SUPSGARAGE yeah anywhere I go like cycle gear or chaparral or southern dismantle they sell the entire piece and it’s like 800$ not just that pump
@V_Rider This should be the same one i used brother and I bought it from ebay. Hope this helps you!

I know this is an older video but I hope someone can help. Where do those 3 vent lines connect? Charcoal canister or something? Mine are not connected and I don't see them anywhere
The 2 that are right next to each other are the ones that have hoses leading all the way down to your bike (away from your headers). one of them is the over drain and the other is just a breather hose for the tank. Not to sure of the 3rd one you speak of but if it's towards the back of the tank then more then likely it's for a canister for emissions. Hope this helps!
@@SUPSGARAGE awesome thanks. So not 100% necessarily needed. That's what I needed to know 🤘 great video btw. To the point. No goofy nonsense like others.
Changed it but got the fuel pump from mostplus on ebay and now my bike wont rev past 7k rpm........any solutions.? really want to ride
Did you clean out the plastic part that holds the fuel pump and have a new fuel filter? If they are clean then it could be the new fuel pump itself. I personally never heard of that brand.
@@SUPSGARAGE I'm sorry I'm a bit confused on the plastic part that holds the fuel pump. I didn't really clean out the unit itself. I did replace the fuel filter and did some mild light cleaning of the area where the fuel filter sits. what link or product do you recommend I use. I'm going to try and replace it again.
@@SportzCentral Sounds like your doing everything right but when you the clean the part that hold the fuel pump, use brake cleaner and the red straw that comes with to make sure there is nothing clogging it. Also make sure none of the gaskets are ripped or cracked or the pump will not be able to pressure out the fuel correctly (the O ring gaskets) Below is the fuel pump I got for this bike on this video
www.ebay.com/itm/06-07-GSXR-600-750-FUEL-PUMP-NEW-EASY-DIRECT-SWAP-LOOK-/252460544553?mkcid=16&mkevt=1&_trksid=p2349624.m46890.l6249&mkrid=711-127632-2357-0
This happend to my 05 gsxd 600. theres a video i can send u to fix it cheap yourself otherwise the shop will want to replace your whole throttle system for over 1000$. Reply back if you still need fixing cuz i have the 1 lucky video to fix issue. This occured on 04 and 05 models due to poor factory sodering that breaks from bike vibration. All you gotta do is follow video steps. Lmk if you still need to fix this issue
I like how mine had none of this and I have a 2002
Don’t like to pick fault but you keep saying gasket, there not gaskets there called O rings 🙂
What do the two other hoses connect to
Which other 2 brother? are you talking about the 2 that connect to the left side of the bottom of the tank?
@@SUPSGARAGE yea
@@anthonyharrison5012 the other side of them should hang down to the bottom of the bike connecting to nothing they are overflow hoses
Ok just making sure
Relay next to the fuse box
If you will change fuel pump you must clean and test the injectors
Can you tell me what fuel pump
That is? If you remember, mine has rust all in it and I’m cleaning my tank and wanna replace the pump. So kind nervous On what kind of pump to buy, the OEM ones are $900
Are you getting the whole assembly or just the fuel pump itself?
@@SUPSGARAGE just pump

@@SUPSGARAGE is the pump still working no issue with it thanks
@@luistorano297 Yes Sir, it's still working
🤔 I think I got a sh*t fuel pump. It ain't got no gas coming out the bottom when I unplugged the fuel line. 😮💨
What was the point in showing us removing all the bolts for the pump then skipping how it pulls out of the tank. Seems a little more complicated than just pulling straight out with the fuel level sensor on it.
I should have showed that as well but it's not to hard to remove brother
I am having a difficult time, is there a certain position ?
@alexandersowkey1464 it helps if you rotate it brother and pull out slowly and you can feel when the floater is not in the way of anything while it comes out
I’m having trouble getting my pump out
You can rotate it out to get the floater out easier brother
I noticed that your bike was sputtering towards the end as if it wanted to shut off, that's the same issue I've been currently experiencing with mine. I can tell by the sound of it. I have to give mine some gas for a few minutes to get it warmed up and stay on. Any idea?
have u tried adjusting the idle higher?
@@SUPSGARAGE I have, unless I'm doing something wrong. It happens during a cold start, this time of year when it gets cold.
Where does it idle at when it warms up? And does it have any check engine lights on?
@@SUPSGARAGE it idles at 1500 and no F1 codes. I mean this bike is well maintained. Done so much work and time into it but that problem still there.
