Dude that sold him the bike punching the air right now
😂
Lol
Facts
😂😂😂
Depends on how many miles are on it... It needs brakes, wheel bearings & seat that we know of, tires are 3/4 worn and/or dry rotted. He already bought a battery & fuel pump for it (it might also be due for a new clutch, stator, chain, sprocket,etc..soon) and is scratched up/dented gas tank from being dropped.... If it has say 50,000 miles, it's not really worth more than what he paid for it. His profit will be made from doing the DIY repairs/labor which will make the bike worth a bit more money....You can buy an 04 GSXR 600 or 750 in very good condition with 18,000 miles for $3,000 I just seen a really nice one for sale Marathon FL asking $3,400 for it. It comes with a couple bike covers, security chain, helmet, gloves, jacket and lots of new parts. I highly doubt the seller is "punching air" right now
This is the kind of video that makes me overconfident in my mechanical abilities and buy a POS that sits in the garage for years
thought it was interesting he didn't change the oil from the get-go.
@@Sahadi420 this was exactly my issue with the video. He kept running and test driving with 2 y/o oil in the bike. or he didnt show the change
@@themooch8130 he probably changed it off camera. Still a cool video

I noticed that too. I think he has major problems that are going to be major $$$. A 2004 must have 60k miles on it at least...he never mentioned the miles.
The bike has 17k miles, the lack of throttle response was a STVA malfunction causing it to starve for oxygen. I showed the fix in part 2 and got it running correctly
Exactly. i don't expect being honest from any youtuber but still.
@@LIFEBUILDZchannel Wish you well on your repairs. I bought a 05 gxsr 600 with exact same issues. Rear brake and power delivery due to faulty secondary throttle valve actuator
@@LIFEBUILDZchannel Hey bro a heads up; this is my first time seeing your channel and honestly I thought this was just a one parter cause I didn't see a part 1 in the title. Up to you but I'd add at least like a (1/2) to the title otherwise I wouldn't have known.
Well, I would have. Cause I just subscribed and gonna watch some more of your vids HELL YEAAAAAAAAAAA

So you bought a new battery, a fuel pump and several fuses for less than $50?
He is just a kid who thinks will do good for him with that kind of fake shitty titles on youtube! Cheap clickbait for really no reason..but on youtube are passionate people who make work of art from bikes and that kind of people who are starving for attention.
he already had the battery, and the fuel pump was second hand, also fuses are a few cents each lmao
@@HACKERMAN911 I swear he said he bought a new fuel pump, and that pump looked as though it shouted "brand new".
nd the flatbed tow..... thats at least 60 to 100 dollars lol
China fuel pumps are $20 on ebay
I bought a non running 03 sv650 awhile back for $700 and had to put in a fuel pump from your gen gsxr actually. It wasn’t always fun to work on but it was a blast to ride once it was roadworthy
Definitely sounds like it's holding back, I've had two gsxr's now and both when u get on the throttle it should be off down the road, but yours seems really hesitant. Great find tho and liking the fault finding 👌👍
Probably had bad injectors or just one.
Clogged injectors easy fix
@@sleepylipscomb7910 how do you fix clogged injectors? Does Seafoam work, or do you have to clean them out like carbs?
@@cesartapia610 depends on the level. sea foam often works, but if they’re really bad you’ll have to replace them. which is way easier on a bike than a car
Loved the big kid smile when you got it running! Good job! 🤩🤩
Thanks! I was pretty excited!
This was a very informational video. I am currently working on a bike I got for $200 (2007 ZZR600) and I tried these things and its running so well. I want to thank you for making this. 10/10 Subscribed.
Glad it helped! Thanks for subscribing
Damn, $200 for any bike, even one with a seized motor is a hell of a bargain! Great buy for a not-that-old bike. You can't get a death trap Honda ATC 3-wheeler these days
Wow! What a cool video! I've only had a Street bike for about a year, and man I was missing out. I hate tinkering with cars, but bikes with videos like yours, keeps my brain going thru all the processes. Street bikes, what a great hobby! Can't wait for part two! Super sweet find, and glad you got it and made it gorgeous!
Thanks Man! I’m glad your enjoying these types of videos! Part 2 is out and I think you’ll love it!
Keep buying and flipping so you can sort out all the issues and I can use you as a reference for when I flip bikes! Great vid
Haha, you got it!
Dude that's so awesome! If I could only have a half of brain when it comes to mechanics, quick story;wanted a bike my whole life,me and wife put down about 2grand for a BMW k1200,well it was obvious that I was gonna have to pay to get it fixed,I paid a guy 1700$to fix it,he beat me for the 1700 and didn't do 1 thing on the bike except whatever he did to make it run for a day and went right back to not running bit after 2000$for it and 1700$ basically stole off us,Guess that's it for the bike life..Lol Ahh what goes around comes around 🙏Godbless
Shoot man, sorry to hear that! Do you still have the bike? Sometimes it’s a simple fix that is overlooked by many people

Haha yes the feeling of getting a non-running vehicle running for the first time is priceless!
I appreciate your videos. I’ve had a few bikes in finding parts are the things for 120 miles to find some parts in a junkyard. I will always clean up the tank inside first remove the wires plugs other Simplethings always check all fuses Valvoline oil etc. I worked at the dealers auction in Los angels washing cars all night long and I’ve also had a car and yacht detailing business. When you sell it you show me receipts and everything’s been replaced for a higher price. Time is money have a nice day. Mahalo.
Nice job man
i definitely enjoyed this video ive been looking for a channel just like this man 🙏🏾💙
I’m surprised you don’t change oil and clean the air filter from the starts. After 2y not running it would be good health check
The rough running after you started it is normal, fuel map has not been adjusted to suit the aftermarket can, mine is exactly the same with the Akraprovic can it has, which BTW is the exact same bike as yours, 2004 orange/black 600, over here in Scotland, i'm lucky my bike is in good condition though. Old Suzuki's are pretty bombproof.
Thats good to know! Ill keep that in mind for the next one!
I bought a 2000 Bandit 600S for $900, got a carb rebuild kit for 60 bucks and now it runs perfectly and its in great condition.
That’s awesome!
Cool video I enjoyed watching all the steps. My 07 GSXR 600 was idling high like that too. A shop tuned it for me and it’s been good since. Nice job figuring it out 👍🏻- Amy

with the revving issue pull the injector banks out there is primary and secondary ones. sit them in a cup of injector cleaner for a night hit them with air put them back in.
Congrats on the steal lol. You should see mine. I bought an 05 gsxr 600 that was sitting for 8 years in a garage. Long story short it had 862 miles on it. I did all of the basic maintenance, and the things you ended up doing. Got it running and then i gave it a makeover. It currently has over 5400 miles on it. Was going to flip it but i love it and i only paid $1750 for it.
Dang that is a steal! Way to go! I understand the flip thing, it’s hard to sell cool projects!

Bike was sitting idle for 2 years.. A quick oil change will make it sing well I guess.. 🙂. Good job on the fuel pump👍🏻
That's a super find! Awesome problem solving lol!
It was a fun build!
Nice. Makes me want to get a non running bike and for a good price and bring it back to life
not sure its a "full system" and looking at the fork tops they have most likely been re sprung rather than full fork upgrade. Still a good find for that price. Wish i could pick them up that cheap in the UK

It's funny cause I had same experience and some guy thought his gsxr was no good I bought it and had it running In A week new pump new tank rectafier and stator now it runs like a champ..

@@LIFEBUILDZchannel I dug deeper and the engine is clapped out. Real low compression, so probably rings, gasket(s), and or valves. It's an 02 and everything else is worn out so we're gonna put it out back and move on to the next one. 💪🏾
@@papasmizz21o4 ah man that’s rough, I just got a jetski with an exploded engine so I know that feeling
Great job man! Very nice.
Thank you!
Great job!
Your face after it starts up XD i felt that
Is the stva bad? Sounds lean at low rpm and that’s a common failure on the 04 and 05 600 and 750
Why didn't you check the pumps resistance with your multimeter and calculate the amperage at 12V to see if it's over the fuses rating instead of blowing fuses?
I always admired the older bikes, reason why I got a 2003 Aprilia RSV MILLE lol but they do need some replacements here and there
Yes they are both beautiful and sometimes frustrating but in the end they are totally worth it!
Sounds beautiful
yo dude nice one man i think my cbr600 has the same problem the fuel pump needs changing
did u just connect the negative terminal/ground first? maybe thats why u have a burnt fuse
Enjoyed the video, cheers
Fail. Did you hook up the ground cable on the battery before the positive?
yo good vid!! I just got a 2020 Honda CBR 650r. it has 94 Hp and is 450 lbs. so, how much slower is it than ur? did I screw up? Should I have gotten a used R6 or 600RR? Thanks!
I think that’s a great bike, this gsxr stock would have 97 hp and weigh in a 425 lbs. they would be pretty similar in performance
Such a calm intro
Mmmhhhhmm
last secs i see you, pedal to the metal, but bike is going slow. are you sure ? the fuel pump sends enough fuel? or it is 50hp?
Nice Jobs, Much Talent.
How seafoam works and clean the carbs how much I can add please let me know thanks
How did you get voltage at the fuel pump if the fuse was broken?
That's a nice buy, i have a 750cc two brothers m2,its sounds the same, if its feels rough youl prob need to change the spark plugs on it. Got only one big question, why is that left mirror in so much motion why ryding, id moved al lot also when it whas on the truck. Is there some brakkit broke?
Yes when the bike was laid over it broke the mirror bracket, thats why it shakes so much.
awesome dude !
Great video I need to start looking
Thanks!

You need new spark plugs ! That’s why it’s running shitty like that. I’ve bought one in 04 and still have it today.
Throttle issue FIX READ BELOW!
I have the same bike, had it since 2010. It looks like the bike has an issue with the throttle body actuator. Ive made this repair 3 times throughout my time with my bike. It involves re-soldering broken connections to an electric motor that opens the secondary throttle body valves. Here is a link to the fix from another RUclips video. Hope this helps if this ends up being your problem. If the link does not work just copy and past the video tittle
c28 code suzuki STVA secondary throttle valve actuator repair 2004 2005 gsxr 600 750
You are 100% correct! I wish I had figured out the problem earlier but I figured it out about 2 days Ago when I pulled the code and it showed c28. I still haven’t completely fixed it but I figured out a temporary solution until I get it fixed

That’s a win bro good buy
Very cool fix / build! Got a sub from me!

My gsxr 08 also sounds a bit like this when starting, any solution ?
Just traded my pc for a 97 katana 600!! Hopefully after I rebuild the carbs it will run good👍
This video makes me happy.
Good stuff bro !!
Thank you!
And did you find out about the max 8k rpm ?? It sounds like its out of sync, or is it running on 3 cylinders?
I did! It turned out to be a STVA malfunction which I fixed in part 2. it was starving for air
I recognize that WA scenery haha. I may even be in the area to buy that bike. Used to own a gsxr 750.
hi..my bike v15 of bajaj is having a complaint for starter clutch assembly and nowadays i cannot self start and the part is now unavailable
Great video!!!
I got my bike the extact same way lol but my only problem is now my gas light stays on all the time after I replaced the fuel pump
I ran into the same issue years ago with a gsxr 1000 and was able to do the same thing accept the pump from Suzuki was like 750 but I went with a pump with for a civic or something can’t remember! What pump did you use ? If you have a part number that would probably help a lot of people.
I don't remember the part number right now but what I did was look up a genuine Suzuki 600 fuel pump and copied the part number into amazon where I found it for 37$
The youtube algorithm has blessed you 🙌
Thumbail is attractive IMO
Hey man, really nice video. I have one question tho.. How are you so smooth on the rev matching :D I've been trying it for so long and it works sometimes but sometimes i completely misstime it. Is there any trick to help me master it cuz it sounds so cool and I would love to do it everytime I want :D
That’s very sweet of you! Honestly it’s been years of practice with not only cars, but bikes and other vehicles as well. It’s pretty hard to explain but when I downshift I blip the throttle just a small about which bumps the revs up to meet the next gear
@@LIFEBUILDZchannel Yes, blip the throttle and release the clutch. I'm doing the same but sometimes the bike feels not so responsive on the throttle and does not bumb the revs and sometimes when it does I manage to rev match. Is it some kind of setting I should make or is it me doing something wrong? And one final question.. Should I rev match when I'm high on RPM on the current gear or it should work even on 3000/4000 just as well? Oh and thanks for answering
Just got a new subscriber 👍
Did you fix the bot revving past 8k? I had one been sat a while FI light was on and it was the secondary butterfly valve actuator need to be re soldered as it pulls away from the board VERY common on this model good luck 👍
Yeah I ended up figuring out that it was the STVA failure, it just needed to be resolderered
I love auto captions they make the bike go “uhhhhhhhhh” 😂😂😂
