    Great video! I don’t even own a Gixxer, but I clicked on it because two wheels is two wheels.

    Lovely video. As you did defo pour some fresh oil into the filter before fitting, worth filling up as most will get absorbed into the filter. This means the bike is running without oil for the shortest possible time. 🔧 Nice tip about the copper grease at the top of the spark plug, thanks. Also that small cap unscrews form the spark plug.

    Hi, awesome video, really helphfull ! I have a 2006 GSXR 600 too and this helped me a lot. I would like to relocate my regulator as yours. I can't find something similar of what I saw in your video here in France. Is that possible for you to share me the specs (mainly dimensions, and holes places) of the metal plate you have to relocate regulator on the side pls ? I can't find it, so I'm gonna charge someone to make it for me.

      Thank you for the positive feedback. I just found a relocation bracket on ebay for you, type in this number 395415302002 in the search bar on ebay and it should load up for you 👍

    as @SillyGoose13281 has said the top of the iridium plugs that you have will unscrew off leaving you with a thinner threader top like your old plugs

      @leeglf just responded back, also thanks for the advice too on this as I haven't sent them back yet so I'll keep them for the next service 👍

    Hey, can you comment on the use of red rubber grease vs silicon grease? What you can and can't use silicon grease on? I've been told silicon is generally better but are there areas that it shouldn't go? Thanks!

    • @RotaryandRides
      @RotaryandRides  Месяц назад

      Hey, I'm no professional and could be wrong here but I think the difference between the two is they both have different temperature melting points which is probably why you shouldn't apply in certain areas because it will cause the product to dry out and crack!
      I think Red rubber grease protects rubber from cracking and deterioration and Silicone grease protects surfaces from water, rapid aging, and high and low temperatures.
      I'm always learning myself and I try to research and learn off others too. So far the areas I have applied the red rubber grease on the GSX R has caused no problems.
