All yoy really need 1,200 go to Facebook market place, Craigslist and find one. It it has problems just save uo another 120 bucks and buy your parts. No biggie
As an enthusiast and a guy who's been through somewhat similar processes. Also I'm so fond of engineering as well and might study mechanical engineering since I'm already into it, so I'm glad to be early on your channel, knowing the potential you've got growing in here. Wish you best of luck!!
That's tough man. No oil change, tune up, running on tires that been sitting for a while. Hey, but it works man. That's awesome. Glad it all worked out and got to ride with your dad. As I sit here, video's2 months old, you're at 34k views! Up and comer!!!!
Nice find! I just purchased an 04 gsxr 600 for $2,800 not running. I pretty much just had to replace the fuel pump/filter and battery to get it running. I've changed the spark plugs, solder the stva, new clutch, break pads. I might keep it to learn to ride in it to get my monies worth before selling it and purchase a newer bike.
Just found your channel and watched episode 1 this morning! Keep these types of videos coming and your channel will definitely grow! Only one small thing I will say is a volume issue. I have to turn the volume up every time you speak and turn it down every time music plays because there is quite a difference. Other than that keep it up!
I appreciate the kinds words and suggestions! Yeah when im editing I notice the volume differences, im going to try to get a microphone to add to my film setup or work with the audio levels more! Im glad your enjoying the content!
I just know that you will get tens of thousands of subscribers very soon for how much effort you put into your videos, I am just glad to be here ealy ;). thank you for making these videos, they are very good
Hi, just started watching your channel. I really like your content. You seem an honest guy who is open to making small mistakes but is big enough to admit to them, I.e. the heated grip on the GSXR. Keep going, the subscribers will come. 👍👍👍
Subbed. This is my favorite type of videos and you seem like a cool, down to earth person. I take my basic riding course next month and I think I might put a reminder not to die on my bike too, lol. My first bike is a Vulcan 900. Looking forward to watching more of your uploads.
Hey I know this comment is quite late but, the main problem with stva is the solder pins on the pcb, I had the same problem, the failing pinst are those that connect the stva plug to the pcb, you can either solder them back on and then ride untill they fail again or you can make direct connection by jumping wires from pins to the stepper motor, you can also buy a nema 14 stepper motor and swap the internals the outside part of the motor is the same you will only have to swap the rotating shaft, but the cool thing is you can pick nema motor without pcb with wires going directly from the coil and just solder the connector on them
Man the bike it looking good. You can really find some gems out there no body wants anymore and with a little bit of tlc make a good rider. Also, awesome you got to get out there with your dad.
This right here might be the only reason I reactivate my Facebook. Just to see what I can find on market place. Thanks for the video. Just found you today and I'm glad to be in the under 2k club. So when you hit 100k maybe I can be a mod and Ban trolls for you. 😂😂😂😂 I ride CBR 600RR myself and I love these kind of garage find videos where it fixes for cheap.
It was a great time! It depends but most of the time yes, my GoPro angle was terrible because I had that saddle bag so there wasn't much usable footage from the weekend.
Hi there, i realy like your content! I like to work on my CBR600 as well. Maybe a way to improve your video's is to use a mic or something for even sound levels. Also find the music parts a bit too loud in compairison to your front faced camera moments. Keep up the good work tho! Ride safe. Greets from the Netherlands
Thanks for the suggestion, I am considering getting a mic. I also have been working on leveling out the volume levels in editing for future videos, hopefully it is a bit better Im glad you are enjoying the content!
I honestly would of thought you had over 100k subscribers and I looked and it said 1.29 im like you’re kidding but I promise you sir your channel is going to grow out of no where and I hope I can be the winner of a bike that you plan on giving away to one of your subs in the future that you didn’t think of doing it yet but you will you will😂 take it easy man and goodluck
Whenever I redo my grips I spray a tiny bit of Windex on the bar to slide it on, and when it dries it becomes tacky and holds it in place and I've never had an issue with slippage.
Doing basicly the same thing as you do. Buy cheap fix problems and flip the bike. Just bought a 200 Euro ZZR600 old Kawasaki. Wich didnot started....we got it up and running in a day. Now it needs a re-spray and i bring it to my work. Low milage and cheap...is what to look for
Nice video man , bike looks good and sound like a easy flip. Can you also do a run down on how much u spend on parts and like the profit u do when u sell it , thanks 🙂
I dont think you should ever use a lubricant to place rubber grips, since it wil stay oily. you will be better off using brake cleaner, since it evaporates.
I think it’s great your doing doing your own work but I think you should try find someone with a bit more experienced to help you with things like brake pads. It’s fairly self explanatory but if you get it wrong it has consequences. With the heated grips route the cable over the top with it being routed underneath if the cable was to get snagged or catch on anything it won’t pin the throttle open and no one wants that!! But great work I subbed !
Great video man, may I suggest balancing the audio a bit more? Sometimes it was hard to hear what you were saying and when i adjusted the volume i then got blasted by the music. Keep it up!
Love both the videos my brother , question for you you're very knowledgeable about the ins and outs of the bikes internal components I'm still learning I currently own a GSXR SRAD I wanted to know did you learn how to fix/install/take apart etc certain things through trial and era, did you watch videos, did someone teach you or did you learn from manuals? What do you think is the best way to learn how to work on your bike? Thank you from NYC
Thanks for the kind words! Honestly the best advice I can give is to have an open mind and be curious. I didn't learn from any schools or anything, I just simply started trying to fix things and when I didn't know what I was doing I would find a RUclips video or look up the manual. After working on tons of different things now, it feels like just another day. Another option is to find some cheap non - running machine such as a cheap dirt bike, jetski, snowmobile, etc where you have very little monetary investment and try to get it running on a cheap budget. I did that quite a bit while I was learning
@@LIFEBUILDZchannel I see thank you brother I look forward to more fixer up videos and I'll definitely start taking apart my bike and seeing what I can do. What state are you in??
dude i just got your part 1 video on my recommended and came for the part 2. i like the love you have for bikes and i think you will gain a lot of subs. a sub from me is the least i can do. keep up the great work!!!

Haha you gotta remind yourself some times!
Think i can speak for everyone saying we would much rather hear the sound of the bike while riding over the music
I’ll see what I can do in the next series, the wind noise was pretty bad which is why I put the music over it
Too cool riding with ur dad loving what u did to the bike
I’m glad your enjoying the content! Riding with my dad was a ton of fun!
I just love ❤️ the transformation of this bike 🏍 that superb
