Recently got my first bike and it's a project bike. This video even being time-lapsed is the most informative video I've found all month. Appreciate cha broski
You honestly showed the perfect way to start riding motorcycles, You should be able to do everything you just did and learn about what your riding, Love the video.
Had a 2005 750.....and so much of this video reminds me of all the stuff i did. Had broken front faring stay broken that was held together with zip ties. The exhaust was trashed with amateur welds holding it together....etc etc
I had the yellow and black version of this awesome machine. Wow, it was a puppy round town but get it on the open road and give it it’s head it was an absolute monster! I never managed to top it out but I did 150mph+ all the time very very easily, mostly on my way to work. One time I had a dice with a Porsche 911 along the M4 motorway in South Wales and he gave up after 20 miles or so, he had better top end, allegedly, but I got there significantly quicker. He actually saluted me😊 IMHO this is the best bike ever all round Suzuki should never stop making the 750 but they have - error.
Well done…Incredible job, very impressive. I have a K5 750 from new still pristine….there’s no way I could do what you did…ENJOY your ride…they are a fun bike…Cheers Marty from Melbourne 🇦🇺
Hi…I have a k5 750, and I love it. More then enough power for me, the look is timeless. Raw power with out any computer assistance…or intervene. K4-K5 kick ass all day!!✌🏼
Great job, I have a 05 GSXR 600 and just did a rebuild last winter also. I did all new chain and sprockets, tires also. If I were you I would look and a newer exhaust that hasn't been cut. This is my favorite year GSXR out of many many bikes over the years.
Nice restore. Lets hope you will never have a problem with leaking seal under clutch cover (near the pump). BTW if you need an easier clutch - dont try to install hand levers, its useless. Just swap the clutch cover with the one from GSR600 and extend its lever.
I have the 750R 20th edittion...i replaced the front fender Gsx1000R k5 and it looks amazing..much better that one came came from factory...the colin of your bike in white with stikers in black/blue looks great...it resalts the lines of design...ill changed my colin like this
Mad! Just a side note, those wire mesh grills face the other way around and are meant to be mounted on the front cowling. Held in by glue from factory if my memory serves me correctly.
Thanks! Yeah those mesh grills were giving me issues tbh. After I put them on I couldn’t put the front fairing on correctly, so I ended up not running them. Although I do like the look of them 👍
loved this video mate i always watch rebuild videos surprised i haven't found you sooner , i'm now subscribed so wont miss anymore of your videos keep them coming for me to watch please mate
Excellent video you inspired me to mess around with my bike. Can you help a brother out and suggest a video on how you did the wiring for the battery tray. That is the only issue i have majorly with my bike since previous owner had LED lights on it and did a bunch of janky wiring mods.
Not sure if you still look at comments, but how do you know the bolt size for all those missing pieces and where do you order these bolts? Especially curious to see how you got that front end looking so good with so many missing pieces.
Hi Taylor, i love you video! 25Nov i will buy my first 750K5 and i want to ask you something. Where do you buy new fairing with quality? Can you give a link? Cumps from Portugal!
Good evening and God bless you. This is James, Tempe, Az. God bless you with some great skills. Great build. I would love to buy a 2004 bike from you, if you have any. I'm looking for a 2004, but can't seem to trust people here, any suggestions buying a used bike? ???????? Thank you kindly.
Great video .thx . About to replace my head light cluster on my 05 60 and was wandering if any one can advise the process of removing the front fairing . Just a simple run down ? I tried to slow this vid down but couldn’t see which fixings needed undoing ? ( rookie here )
Guy had really messed it up!Good job on the resto.Had an immaculate 2007 blue white Gixxer myself.Buyer had an accident on it.Hit from behind.Felt really bad
Thanks buddy! Yeah the previous owner didn’t take the best care of the bike. It’s a pet peeve of mine when a motorcycle isn’t in the shape it should be 🙏
carefull with those cheap levers. there are alot of youtube videos about them locking up when someone is driving and crashing. its important to check the pushrod pin inside the lever moves free. if you look there are a few videos. there should be very little pressure needed to line up the mounting bolt if installed correctly. im describing the front break side. just a heads up!
I’m about to try to revive my 04 Gsxr 600 that’s been sitting in my barn for 9 years. Nothing was wrong when I parked it, other than what you have shown in the video would you recommend me changing/checking?
Just an overall check up like I did in the video. However, I would def checkout the valves and see if they need to be adjusted as well after sitting for so long!
It might be an awkward question, but how much did you spend on the project, besides the bike it self? I'm looking to restore one myself and would like to have a budget laid out for it.
I have a full cost breakdown video on the Gsxr, feel free to check it out! Off the top of my head I think I spent $1500 on the bike, and like $1000 on repairs

Yes sir, there was a few things I didn’t get to catch on camera. One of which was a update on the front brakes. New master cylinder, lines, and fluid. Sometimes I just forgot to grab my camera! Lol especially on the days when I was on a time crunch to get back to work
Thanks for watching! Please read the description :) See you all in the next build!
