    I loved this soup. Being having it almost every day. Traded out the oranges for apples because oranges are very seasonal. Recently I developed kidney stones (calcium). Been hitting the lemon juice more because of this (the citrate reduces the stones). I am also going to trade out spinach for arugula to minimize my oxilates. Cheers

      My past comments have not seemed to go through on my side, but I would just like to encourage you to read about Spinach Soup on medical mediums website. He talks about how oxalates are a non issue

      @LunchwithLisa  Год назад +1

      Yes! And I’ve also read other studies that show oxalates are in so many things anyway, you can’t really avoid them completely, and having a healthy gut flora helps us process them well.

      The 1st time I tried this soup 2 years ago, it's so awful to me from the raw garlic. But I just tried again yesterday and wow it tasted really good and I don't feel n don't smell the garlic anymore - maybe my liver is much better now - thanks for sharing 🙏🏻

    I’m TOTALLY making this! One question. Will it degrade flavor or nutrients if I heat it up or was in intended to be cold? Oh and your comment that it doesn’t taste like “lawn”!😂😂😂😂

    • @LunchwithLisa
      @LunchwithLisa  2 года назад

      It’s meant to be eaten raw for the cleanse but I’m sure you can heat it up if you’re just wanting it hot. Try it out. Not sure if it loses nutrients or not… probably a little!

      You should really refer directly to Medical Medium information for answers. I don’t believe he recommends ever heating spinach.

      That is true. He recommends never heating lettuce of any sort.

      Thanks so much for watching! I have not tried blending in the cucumber noodles because I like that it gives me something to chew on, but you can always blend it in.

    I would normally turn away from this but when you show me the ingredients like orange and garlic I’m interested.

    Can you replace tomatoes with mango?

    • @LunchwithLisa
      @LunchwithLisa  2 года назад +1

      I can’t see why not. It just might be a little thicker. I’d love to hear how it goes if you try that!

      It taste a lot better with mango for me. I prefer a sweeter taste over savory.
