    What did you do about the hair loss, I'm currently having that problem 1 month later after finishing the diet, I'm a little relieved knowing that the weight loss is the cause of it and not something else

    • @LunchwithLisa
      @LunchwithLisa 3 дня назад

      @theychannel4267 Oh no! Sorry to hear you’re also having that problem. Honestly, I had to eat more. Since then, I’ve learned how to count macros so I know exactly how much I’m eating, and my hair started growing back when I eat close to maintenance calories and for me that’s around 2,000-2200 calories a day. I struggle with hunger when I dip too low now, but my hair still remains a little thinner than before. It’s still growing in. Lots of baby hairs and shorter hair in the mix so it’ll take a while!

    My husband and I don't have any teeth. He's lost 150 pds eating ZONE bars for breakfast and lunch and regular dinner. We can't afford ZONE bars anymore.. We need an alternative please. Something that is smooth. I made a recipe with melted chocolate and pumpkin. I added some AGAR and turmeric, cardoman and cinnanmon. It didn't make a bar but it was firm enough in the fridge. It was good. I was thinking of adding some powdered protein you put in a shake to see if it would be firmer. However, do you have any recipes I could make that he can just pick up and eat? PLUS, my oven is broke so if you or anyone here can tell me how to use a fyrer, bake oven .CUSIMAX oven.

    I found this while looking for information to use while arguing with an Optavia coach about how it's not a real diet and "coaches" are not health professionals. I'm so sorry this happened to you. I wish you the best in your future health and I'm glad you've sworn off of MLMs.

      @LunchwithLisa Месяц назад

      I so love the anti-MLM movement and how it’s making so many more people aware of these cults! There’s a lot of good mixed in with the bad to reel people in. Thank you for your supportive comment! I am happy to say I’m now eating more and lifting heavy weights, but still recovering from the damage that starvation diet did to my hunger cues! And good for you for standing your ground with that “coach.”

    Why do you need the second freeze? Wouldn’t it be ready once it’s blended? It does look runnier in that part than the second freeze but im confused why because it should still be about the same temperature?

    • @LunchwithLisa
      @LunchwithLisa 3 месяца назад

      All the friction warms it up and melts it a little. But the first freeze creates large ice crystals that are broken down in the blending. Then refreeze to harden it back up so it’s not soupy. But the ice crystals are now smaller so it’s smoother.

    A different step - you can get GOOD cherry tomatos and bake them on about 400 for 15 to 20 mins until they burst. (toss with olive oil, s/p before hand). Once they burst, take them out and mush them up. You can layer them over the zuchini rolls instead of canned tomatos. Kroger (some of them) carry an organic from Canada called Pure Flavor, either Azuca or Sangria vareity. Azuca is a heartier taste, Sangria is bright and 'sharp'. I've utterly fallen in love with this brand and had nearly given up on fresh tomatos of any kind as they're bland and mealy. Also can serve with some freshly sliced (or in a platic tub) parmesean. Add arugla for a peppery bit to the filling or fresh basil. Ok - now I'm off to go make this! Thanks for the recipe!
