    That was the best choreography of a freestyle dressage I have ever seen! The horse was in perfect time to the music all the way through. And the horse stopped at the end at the very moment when the music ended. Totally perfect in my view!!! And Laura knew how perfect it was. Kudos to her and her horse!

      @@sarajane5306 She should have taken silver rather than bronze. The Dutch rider who did win it, has some dubious methods of training and made some nasty comments about the winner.

      SpiritWolf but do you understand that the horse is in an extreme amount of pain, metal bits, spurs, hard hands, no give, muscles being strained and pulled. The horses don't do this naturally it is forced. If you were the horse, how would you feel?

      Amber Poeppel I do agree with some things you say but all the dressage moves seen in this video are exaggerated natural movements that you would see a horse in the wild do 🙂

    • @coollikegrass2489
      @coollikegrass2489 6 лет назад +1

      Life.In.The.Saddle No it's really not what wild horses do naturally. I've never seen a wild horse do a half pass, or a canter pirouette, or run around with it's head behind the vertical and it's poll tucked. Wild horses don't do these things. You should actually research wild horses.

    • @ggu5297
      @ggu5297 5 лет назад +36

      @@amberp.8279 i know this is an old comment but still. . . if this horse was in "an Extreme amount of pain" it would have its ears back, swish its tail, and play up in other more subtle ways that are hard to pick for an inexperienced person, so mentioning these things is pointless, it would be like explaining things to a rabbit. i don't really like the way this horse was ridden, the rider looks quite rough and jerky, but the horse seems relaxed and comfortable all through the test, no signs of distress. and i cant judge the rider too much as i haven't ridden that horse, he may be a rough ride, some are smooth as silk, some quite bouncy. but i want to assure you, that dressage when done correctly, is not painful for the horse. the bits are only as harsh as the riders hands, while its just sitting in their mouth it doesn't hurt them, a small amount of pressure doesn't hurt them either, its when you yank and jar them that its an issue. spurs are used so the rider can do more accurate ques, they hardly have to touch them, especially at this level. and they don't stain and pull their muscles, they build them up over a long period of time, it takes ages to train a dressage horse for this level of competition, they don't just pull them in completely unfit for this. its the same as building up any muscle, it takes time, and as it gets stronger it gets easier and the level steps up.

    The horse was amazing, the rider left a bit to be desired, but then again, shes the reason why the horse could do what he did. Although she looked a bit stiff and her feet were almost touching the saddlepad at times, which kinda looked ridiculous.
    I honestly love how into it the hirse was, ears up, big movements and very little tail movement, he seemed to like what he did
    However i really enjoyed this, wonderful to watch!

    Ich habe selten etwas so Unschönes gesehen wie diese Reiterin. Vielleicht sieht es ja Schlimmer aus, als es ist... aber wie sie da auf dem Tier herumfuhrwerkt, aggressiv mit dem Oberkörper und den Händen jeden Schritt förmlich herauspresst und dann mit den Beinen Meilenweit hinter dem Gurt ohne jedes Schamgefühl herumstochert wie ein Blinder mit dem Stock. Die Musik wäre ja sehr schön ausgewählt, aber zu dieser Reiterei wirkt sie eher zynisch. Sehr unschönes Bild. Einzeig erstaunlich, dass das Pferd überhaupt noch läuft... in jedem Fall sieht man am Kopfzucken des Pferdes, dass ihr Gerupfe erheblich ist und das Maul ist sehr unruhig. Den tosenden Endapplaus kann ich überhaupt nicht nachvollziehen, auch wenn die Lektionen in der Tat nicht misslungen sind. Einzig versönlich ist ihre sichtbare Dankbarkeit am Schluss gegenüber dem Pferd.

    My last dressage test was walk/trot (it was super easy since it was at fair) and my horse got so excited he took off into the canter a couple of times

    An sich gut geritten, aber leider mit etwas zu viel Druck und mir ist die Reiterin auch etwas zu unruhig..
    Mit jedem mal wo sie so unruhig mit der Hand ist, gibt sie dem Pferd ein Ruck im Maul, was mich etwas stört. Und auch das das Pferd leider etwas eng läuft.
    Aber ansonsten ganz ok..

      JuLiiaxXlEaxXProducti0nx bin ganz deiner Meinung, zu unruhig im Oberkörper und deshalb sehr hart in der Hand. trotzdem alles in allem ein guter ritt☝

      da stimme ich dir zu. Finde auch die hand sehr unruhig und hart. ich will gar nicht wissen was das für schmerzen sind mit dieser harten trense... Andererseits ist das ein niveau das viele nie erreichen werden und den weg dort hin auch nicht verstehen werden. aber ich bleibe lieber mit langem zügel hobbyreiterin als dass ich meinem pferd schemrzen zufüge.

      Da Stimme ich die voll zu. Wenn man mal überlegt, das Gewicht, das der Reiter in der Hand hat mit vier multipliziert(je nach Gebiss auch mal mehr), entspricht ungefähr dem Druck, den das Pferd im Maul spürt... Klar die Leute die im Grand Prix Nivau reiten können schwere Lektionen, ob sie das unbedingt zu besseren Reiter macht bezweifel ich

      Ich finde auch, dass sie gerade bei Schenkelweichen und den anderen Lektionen ihren Unterschenkel zu weit hinten hat und mit der Spore ganz schön in den Bauch rein geht.. die Hand ist auch zu hart meiner Meinung nach..

      Das mit der hand sieht man vor allem gut am anfang und wenn die mal näher an die ran filmen und das fällt mir schon auf und ich bin eher im western Bereich unterwegs 🤔

    Me encantó el trabajo del BINOMIO, MUY MUY CERCA DE LA PERFECCIÓN, UN CABALLO MUY OBEDIENTE A LAS AYUDAS, CON UNA ENORME POTENCIA EN EL PASSAGE Y EN EL PIAFE, CON UNAS PIRUETAS INCREÍBLES Y LOS CAMBIOS DE PIE A LA BATIDA PERFECTOS, UN TRABAJO MAGISTRAL, PLÁSTICO Y BELLISIMO. LAURA HIZO UN TRABAJO PERFECTO, MIS MÁS CÁLIDAS FELICITACIONES. LE PONGO 98.00 DE NOTA SOBRE 100.00. CONGRATULATIONS.
