Honestly? This is my favorite freestyle dressage ride--simply in beauty & joy. Yes, there are better technical rides but this one brings me the most joy.
@ginaria2530 That’s the point, the cues the horse gets are extremely subtle, almost undetectable. Dressage is a difficult sport that takes years of hard work, discipline, dedication and continuity. The use of minute movements from rider hands/reins, use of different points of pressure by riders legs , solid base of rider in saddle , upper body control all while maintaining balance throughout entire body! Such a beautiful and magical dance …with life long dedication, righteous trainers/ practices and enduring love of Dressage! (Just a basic, rudimentary explanation, lol) 😊

ALaurel Jordan thanks but is true I take clase for reining and my horse trainer say that and not only one trainer many of them and the horse also is sweating that is another signal of presión and not comfortable work

Why couldn't a horse love to dance? Even plants have a favorite music genre. I once seen a horse named Baby dance in her stall to Ice Ice Baby while a bunch of kids clapped and cheered her on. Maybe your pal just loves the high frequency vibration YOU put off when you are happy. It is just like the vibrations felt when you are happy with your pal. I bet they perceive it the way we perceive a cats pur when we pet them. "Hey, they seem really happy. Let's keep petting them". My human seems super happy. Lets keep dancing. 😍

The first 30 seconds before the routine has such incredible suspension. The mixing of the music in outstanding-as is horse & rider!
This is a excellant dressage test this rider clearly loves his horse and they are a great partnership
