Very few deceased singers can do that, Freddie Mercury really was one of a kind, a kind of magic! The Beatles, The Stones, The Who, Led Zeppelin, Queen, to name a few, it's amazing how many classic bands England has given to the entire world. I'm from Mexico and, even though my country has given one or two world class performers, it will never match the power, variety and complexity that these classic bands had in their music.
Really, you no-nothing ? What about Jimi Hendrix or Jimmy Page, much better than your over-rated idol. What do you know about Rock n Roll, you're Asian, it's not your culture by a long shot and you need to work on your English, you're using a double negative which means May can't play like anyone else. It was a clever move to let a woman perform Freddie’s part, as nobody can really fill the void left by Freddie. A female singer gives a different perspective to the song and may not be compared directly to Freddie. Also, Jessie J’s voice is pure and powerful, and she added a modern ?is it hip hop twist to this rock song. I loved the virtual appearance of Freddie’s at the beginning, because it gave him the chance to posthumously interact with the crowd, it harked back to his appearance at Wembley 26 years earlier, paid homage to one of the UK’s greatest icons in music and placed the London Olympics in a bigger cultural and historical context - all at the same time! Brilliantly done! Only the Brits can do it like that.....(I had the privilege of living in the UK during the 90s before having to return to the Continent, still miss the UK, bit miffed they want to divorce us....)
they already toured with 2 different singers and they said that they would never replace Freddie simply because they can't.. so its okay if a man did it, plus the songs are veryy hard jessie j cant perform 2 queen songs in a row because its too tiring
Was not a fan of this edition. Freddie would have walked like a queen. You want a different style, but she drowned out to me. Get me a female that rocks and turns up the crowd
Lol. Catsuits were Jessie's style back then. She used wear Catsuits for every appearance. U can even check her old music videos at that time. It has always been a fashion. Period

Freddie can control a crowd without being present, especially after death.

Ofc we all miss Freddie, but Jessie J did it so well. She definitely had so much pressure to play in Olympics with this legendary band.
Even on a projection some 20 years after his death, Freddie Mercury's voice can still control and whip up an entire audience of 50,000+ people. Very few deceased singers can do that, Freddie Mercury really was one of a kind, a kind of magic! He was not just a rock star, he was a legend and his legacy and his voice lives on to this day inspiring millions more.

Cant imagine if freddies still alive. Maybe even Aliens will start visiting us.
U know u are a freaking legend when u could still make the crowd sing along with u after u passed away for decades
I don’t know why but whenever Jessie sings on live I get goosebumps. Love you Jessie 💖
Brian may. He can make orchestra only 1 guitar. Nobody can't playing like him. You are real legend sir 😭
Come back and post when you have a mastery of the English language.
Chad Gibbs from music preference and it suddenly become a race thing lol white ppl. Asking other to ‘master english first’ while don’t u realize the problem is within urself that only knows english. Poor boy
Chad Gibbs I guess English is the only language you can speak... What a poor English boomer! Lol
